Ah, its similar to the Fender ones. It's a wooden housing and some kind of cloth material (not plastic). Build quality overall seemed great, my only gripe with it was the color... bit too on the shade of yellow/green for me personally but thats an ultra shallow thing to complain about 😆
I have been using this amp at gigs. Great amp.
The drive channel is solid state, it looks like a tube screamer type chip with led clipping diodes, the channel status lamp is inside the chassis too!

Does not having an effects loop matter?
I ran a couple walrus audio reverb/delay pedals through it and it seemed fine with no loop
