4. Black Sandpaper (anti reflecting inner coat )

So according to the formula If I want to make an eyepiece of 25 mm the from the lens of focal length-50mm each there is no need of spacer? Because c=0 by the formula.
spacer is required to prevent lenses by touching each other and distance between two lenses is measured from edge thickness of the lens. if you are talking about plossl eyepiece, minimum distance between two lenses is 5mm from edge to edge .

Sir I have a question..is the diametre of the two lens always have to be same. In my case one lens is 18mm dia and another is 7.5mm would it work?

Yes you can make eyepiece from it.... Small lens will be eye lens and large will be a field lens.... small lens should be more powerful than larger lens....👍
Distance should be around 20 to 25mmm between two lenses
@@creativeamol the smaller one has a 15mm F.l where the larger one has a 30mm F l ...is that ok?

Bro I have two Plano convex lens of 7.5mm diameter and focal length 15mm what should be the size of spacer and also tell about a biconvex lens of 25mm dia and 45 focal length
Go for plossl eyepiece design you will get maximum magnification...... Because both lens have same focal length....use minimum size spacer. @@shivamsinghrathore8119 plano convex is better than biconvex lens considering spherical aberration..but you can use both... If you have doublet plano convex lens
Plano convex as eye lens and biconvex should be the field lens and the distance is up to you
What is the focal length of objective lens?? If you have short fl lens less than 200mm then you should use doublet lens or coated lens to minimise chromatic aberration
@@creativeamol the Plano convex is of 500mm focal length and the biconvex one is of 10cm focal length. I don't have the budget for achromatic doublet lens so please tell me one between Plano and biconvex

Go for plossl eyepiece design instead....you will get maximum magnification...... Because they have same focul lengths....ramsden need different focal length lenses
Keep lenses as close as possible but don't let them touch each other.....

its depend on lens type and power but 15 to 20 mm spacing is good enough .

if you have identical lenses then set minimum distance between two lenses...make sure they don't touch each other. of you have different focal length lenses than use short focal length lens as eye lens and longer focal length as field lens at a 10 to 15mm distance.

Ramsden was a person who designed this kind of eyepiece.... basically you can use any combination of lenses to make eyepiece don't need to be a specific...

There are two options 1 either use errect prism or 2. Use open camera app and rotate preview 180....

You have to add errect prism... like Barlow lens

how to make 10mm eyepiece plz tell me
don't go for mm thing.... if you want to use below 10mm then you need really good type of eyepiece like fully coated optics and also good type of objectives lens
