For being a mavs fan for multiple decades, it feels so good to have a team that is physical with a great a defense
Watched it again. Great stuff and thanks again for that! Cannot wait for the next show. ... Small friendly tip - Josh's mic being up might be the reason it is not always easy to understand him.
Can we stop for one second and appreciate where the Mavs came from in this season and how they've evolved into their current form? First half of the season was injury riddled and pretty mediocre... Then they get healthy, and make a couple of what seemed to be mid-level trades, and all of the sudden they're climbing out of the play-in, and somehow they went from being a bottom-8 defense to being a top-3 defense! They also went from a team who couldn't win if they weren't hitting Three-Pointers, to a team that can win games consistently while shooting below league average from 3PT. The Mavs completely flipped their identity! I hope next season Mavs fans will remember this and stop blaming Kidd and calling for him to be fired after every loss, but I doubt it.

Man I think the fans need to stop NOT trusting the guys to give us their best. Just cheer. Be fans. The crowd was way too quiet today, embarrassing. These guys are balling out every single game. We can talk shit here in the comment section but I don’t understand not believing in this team enough to cheer for them in a series they are poised to win.
Based! Stop blaming Kidd for everything, stop shitting on Players when they struggle. Luka is a hero he plays being that injured, Lively is a hero he plays that well being a rookie, Kyrie is a true legend, and so and so on. This team is OUTSTANDING. Thank you Mavs!!!!

@@jamesanderson3537 Nope, a lifelong Mavs fan just sick of our fans that are too obsessed with presenting opinions as facts (often uninformed) to just support the team. It’s supposed to be entertainment and people are going holy war over trivial things. I understand OKC fans doing it a bit more, they have a young team that hasn’t won anything. My opinion, Mavs fans should trust that our guys are going to give their best and that everyone on the team is trying to win a championship. If someone doesn’t trust that then I don’t think they should call themselves a fan.
The falling down thing is how Luka hurt his knee. Russ poked the ball away from behind, Luka took a dive, smashed into the ground, and hurt his knee. He smashes into the ground a lot. I wish he would stop cause that’s a big dude to constantly go crashing into the court.

Your blaming the person that got hurt by the actions of others for getting hurt. Luka is NOT TRYING to fall, and when he gets hit HE IS actively trying to protect himself from getting hurt. If players are going to keep trying to phisically injure Luka then the refs MUST start calling this crap and throwing people out of the game.

Luka is 100% trying to fall. Every time he misses a shot or turns the ball over he hits the ground. He slams into the court hard. Sports fans are such hypocrites I swear. The thing I like about someone like Kirk is at least he admits Luka is a flopper.
Completely wrong. Russ stepped on Lukas right foot which was the push off foot to start his drive and it caused Lukas foot to stay planted and his knee to be twisted the opposite way. Y’all literally make shit up in your head to trash Luka it’s getting beyond ridiculous the fact his own fanbase trashes him more then anyone else and then y’all turn around and cry why he doesn’t get credit or gets trashed in the media. He’s the most trashed superstar by his own fanbase I’ve ever seen. Russ might’ve very slightly caught Luka’s right toe, barely. Luka was already flailing to the ground before that, then took a dive. Later, Russ contested a Luka 3, hit Luka’s hand, Luka went down like someone hit him with a bat. It is what it is, but Luka is one of the most ridiculous floppers in the league lol.
Sorry Kirk, but your favourite player SGA is far from ethical. He is 20 PPG guy who gets the benefit of one of the most disgraceful whistles in the league after Embiid and Harden. No contact, throw the head back and it’s two free throws. You have the nerve to say the game was reffed fairly and evenly when you even admit in this very podcast that SGA’s foul baiting tactics are rewarded and Luka getting mauled in the lane is not.
