He just comes off a lot more snide than the rest for whatever reason. Andrew does too sometimes but it’s tolerable, but part of why I love Alex, Luke, and Taylor so much is cause they’re way more easygoing
The Thunder squad will definitely benefit if they have a big who can rebound. Anyone who has deep understanding about the game of basketball, know Shai will definitely benefit from that. Shai's game is not like some of those small high octane guards such as Ja, Kyrie, or Russ. Shai drive a lot but he is not going all the way to basket. He usually drive, search, then either taking a jump shot outside the paint or at the baseline or does a step back jump shot. He is not taking a lot of jump shoot inside the paint. So, a big inside the paint not only will not hurt him, it will actually help his game. He can either dump the ball into the paint for a dunk if he get trapped, or the big can grab the rebound if he missed, or holding off the opponent big from going after Shai for block. That, in fact, will unlock a different part of Shai's game. You can't win a championship when u have to start every game with a 10 rebounding deficiency against your opponent. If they make half of that, that is translate to 10 deficiency points each game.
Andrew and Jay y’all can calm down about the goaltending lol it was the right call and they came out on twitter after the game and proved it. Yall really think they didn’t get a better look than the one we got on the broadcast? Even with that angle you could see it was the right call
So ---- I'm just wondering if anyone wants to consider any of the evaluations after seeing how the Mavs are taking care of the Timberwolves at their house. It's always risky but it looks like it could be the Mavs in 4 for the conference championship. The Thunder may have taken the NBA Champions to Game 6. If they would have been a bit looser shooting uncontested 3's who knows? How about this add: Wanted: NBA 4 - 5 HT Around 6'9" Wingspan 7'3" Two-way player preferred or willingness to work on the one you suck at Must be able to dribble above average for position Scary good passing skills Average 30%+ beyond the ark Fitting into winning team culture required Stay out of the newspapers (and courts of law) with off-court activities No problem.......

@@jacobfisher-tb7nb thats the point. He didn’t play. Around mid season I said he wasn’t going to play in the playoffs. He’s a fan favorite so people assumed he’d be a lock in the rotation.
I listen to the podcast since probably 2020 and it got way better for me after this episode, when I discovered that y'all (except for Luke) also dislike The Last Jedi lol
Long shot here.. I mean a huge stretch.. and it doesn't fit the 15 year window of contending.. but if we drafted bronny and tried to get Lebron. He can play the 4. Good defender, can shoot, pass playmake. Pretty much everything you guys have been describing the team needs.. all in 1 player. Haven't even looked at the salary, and idk if it would even be possible but just throwing it out there bc I haven't heard anyone else say it. There's no way we don't win a ring in 2025 with Shai, Dort, Jdub, bron, Chet. And bronny and Deing can hang out in the g league😂 who knows maybe bronny can develope into a 6th man in a couple years
Gordon Hayward vibe? Think of the worst film school on the planet and the worst sci-fi project from the worst student and Hayward wasn't even that good.
Because lots of people in the league have been through less, are far worse teammates than the little things Giddey did and never vow to improve at all. Pretty straightforward hope that helps.
@@RK.Anthony Yup and he admitted he wasn't supporting enough and made a promise to support more and did exactly that. Laudable. Like you just gonna keep holding onto that forever or what?
@@RK.Anthony no, but it shows they understand they made a mistake and have learned from it and are going to try and change going forward. Sam never won the Executive of the Year for a reason. He drafted 3 future MVPs and still has nothing to show for after a decade and a half. He scouts well, manages the cap, and team well. But he has not traded well, which turns OKC season in a meaningful way. He is definitely not winning that award this year for sure. The whole NBA world knows what the Thunder needed but he couldn't pull a right trade to help the Thunder improve their rebounding woe. Nobody ever think Gordon is the rebounding juggernaut Thunders needed. That is not even the worst. The worst part was that he even helped his biggest competitor, the MAvs, to pull off a trade that eventually came back to hurt the Thunder in the playoff on the PJ trade. What an irony. The Mav's brass should get that award.
Andrew probably still thinks the Hayward trade was the right move for this season lol. I remember some of us in the live chat at the deadline naming PJ as a realistic option that could help us out and he laughed it off like it was a joke. Turns out he had a pretty important role in our season after all lol
@Flamerunner451 Yup. He is still saying that even after Thunder was eliminated in the playoff claiming the Thunder's brass will still trade for him even after all this performance. Let's not forget, Shai also played with PJ before in college hoop. Don't see any problem about he can't play along a guy who "can't shoot".
Love Bismack! His end of season interview was so good.
Taylor calling out Jays vibes killed me😂
Thanks lads 🎉🏀
Andor is unequivocally the second best Star Wars media, but I understand movies only. But I see and hear you L-Man, you're 100% right
BIG THANKS for trying to put in the andor vibes.
also L man is TRIPPING saying micic is the christmas special but hayward is force awakens??? no!!!!!!
Yeah, this made no sense. I got actually mad at this. Micic had great vibes, and actually so did Bertans.
Please, someone steal Jay's Godzilla mug of whatever he's drinking because if he thinks Presti is standing pat I don't know what to tell him.
Please ask Sam what he learned about the team and its needs from the playoff run.
Gordon Hayward is the Boba Fett show
As someone who hasn’t seen Star Wars I couldn’t make it past Muscala. 🤷♂️
Gonna be honest, Taylor is right, Jay's vibes have been off for about a year now tbh.
