Eurovision reactions 2024: #16 Poland 🇵🇱 - LUNA - The Tower

- At number 16 in my top 37 of Eurovision 2024's contest entries is Poland, represented by LUNA with "The Tower".
In terms of population, Poland are the biggest country never to have yet won (adult) Eurovision, though they came closest on their debut in the contest, finishing runners up in 1994, 30 years ago. Since then, they have only finished twice more in the top 10. Recent form was patchy with three years non-qualifying between 2018 and 2021. They have two qualifications on the bounce now, and with big changes to the broadcaster following a change of government (the channel was increasingly a government mouthpiece), will their pick for this year, LUNA, continue Poland's qualification run?

The staging will be key here. I think the song is quite good. I would go all in with the chess elements of the music video. I like the comparison to Bjork. I think that will help.
Also the live vocal! Though that tends to be more important IF it gets through to the grand final…

I haven't (as yet) done the more traditional "reaction" videos as my video recording/editing skills haven't quite reached that point yet (though I hope to get there!) - but I'd like to do a "best of the rest" type video some time after Eurovision, looking at the songs that almost got to the contest this year. So Justyna would definitely be in that!
It's a really great song but I worry re her live vocals!
Yeah... I suppose live vocals are less important in the semis, but she's caught in a terrible position in running order and that might really impact the chances
