You guys are life savers! My wife ordered these for her 1989 Vandura and we installed them today and noticed they were doing this. Thank you very much for making this video!!
Do you have any part number for the adapters you got from eBay. I've looked and can't find the ones you have. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you @@klowny1969
Thank you so much for your.. you helped me out when I was stumped with putting these lights in my 1990 Ford crown Victoria.. once I found your video and saw how to do the low beams . Made all my problems go away..
Hello there. By any chance do you have a link or name to the adapter you used? I’ve been looking online for what seems like forever and I cant find anything that goes from the factory 2 prong to a 3 prong. Anything helps thanks!
Guy on Amazon review wired one pair low with parking lights; two pair low with lowbeam; and two pair high with highbeam; for a low-medium-high option! Seems like there are some methods for us old 4 headlamp F-body owners to have low-medium-high option :)
if you just buy a set and used them as your high beams while say having hids in your lows when you hit your highbeam switch will the all the leds come on without an issue.
I did mine on a 1990 Ford LTD with 4;headlights. I switched the red and green wires around like you said but now my low beams are way too dim.. the high beams work just fine. But you can barely see anything with the low beams on
Kudos to you for doing this video!! This may have already been asked, but when you say adapter/switch, do you mean both an H4 relay harness kit and a set of H4 wiring harness sockets? I have a 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser. The headlights are absolutely abysmal. I got a 4pk kit of LED lights that look just like the ones you have there but now I'm thinking I'll need both sockets and a harness. Could you advise me? 1 harness and 4 sockets or 2 harnesses and 4 sockets? Thanks ahead of time!!
Hey Dgc...I have a 2012 Western Star and when I put these headlights in my truck, my low beams work fine but when I click the high beams switch, the low beams go out and I only have high beams. I can’t find those 2-3 prong adapters anywhere. Got any advice to offer?
Any other tips to get access to the bottom two screws that are hidden under the headlight pocket? I tried and I am really worried if I push down as hard as I need to (to flex the headlight pocket enough to get a screwdriver in there) that it will CRACK the paint and clear (My headlight pockets were painted and clearcoated).
U can for low beams its only one row that lights up. .these are expensive units, not sure ifbu really just want to use these for low beams only..thanks for watching
I have a 91 Toyota pickup I got the same headlights and I bought a separate harness for it and my lights only turn on when I put it on high beam when it’s on low they don’t turn on at all
I am on my 2nd hi lo switch on the column. I'm replacing the hi beam with led angel eye lights so the current will be lower. Any thoughts as to why I am burning out hi lo beam switch.
You can make the adapter yourself with some wire and blade and spade terminals. It just wont have the plastic piece and you will have to know which pins to connect.
Hey klowny 1969 I just got a pair of the Oracle LED headlights for my 79 firebird but I'm having a problem with the high beams coming on, the outer ones come on without a problem. So what do you think is going on with the LED's
with these headlights on the low beam side..is just the 1 row of lights actually bright enough? is it possible they can be wired so that the whole light will light up for low and both will light up for brights?
You will blind oncoming traffic if you do that. It would be like having your high beams on continuously. You could set them up to turn on with the high beams though.
I put a set of projector (Halogen) in my 84 Cutlass 4 headlight system. Lows are fine, highs are good for a few minutes, then they all start flashing on and off. also, my bright indicator on dash stays on all the time. the highs are only 2 wire plugs and I skipped the top prong. bent up a little to miss plug. Finally I just unpluged highs. Suggestions please, Thanks
Hi, I bought a set of turbo SII led headlights. the three prong connector has a yellow, red and black wires. DO you know which wire is witch>?.....would the red be hot and black be ground/?
I am looking at these for my 94 s10. Not sure if they hook up is the same as this video but ill figure that out. I was wondering if you could take a video clip at night? Id like to see how bright these things really are. Id appreciate it if you could do that!
Alright! It was worth a try. I'll order a pair and see how they work. Can't find much information on these. Luckily I found this video To see how they look and what not. Anyhow thanks!
Yes they looked super bright, hopefully not to bright where everyone wants to flash brights at me, guess I can flash back and blind them if nessesarly lol. I am not even sure if these will work with my 94 s10. But will find out! Thanks for the reply, have a good one!
Hi Klowny good video 👍 Klowny you know you can also use H4 led bulbs that’s what I did and they look great. How are you liking these lights? Did they hold up well?
So did anyone actually get it figured out? I hear some saying get the adapter, some saying don’t need it. I got a set in my Western Star tractor trailer and I got the low beam working fine but when I go to high beam, the low beam (LED) lights go off. I’ve used a test light to make sure I know which wires are high beam, low beam and ground but even that information was useless. Any info would be great. Especially on the adapters if there really is somewhere to buy it. Thanks
You never made a comparison to how bright it lights up, and there is no other video out there which can set a good example to which this exact setup is a good buy or not, so how about making one? :)
You guys realize the adapter is completely useless right? You don't need it at all. You said the original is two pin. Then you adapted it to three pin but cut the wire to the third pin and didn't even use it! Lol! Stupid. You can and should wire or connect these up without the unnecessary adapter.
Any oncoming traffic will hate you for installing these. They spew light everywhere. I've also never seen a comparison of these in low/high vs the stock lights, probably a reason for it.
klowny1969...I’ve tried to find the adapter but can’t find the right one. Where can I get it??? Can’t find it on eBay. Can you email me at robertgskinner@eastlink.ca???
Hi I’d like to add my 2cents in... I have an 87 Chevy, I never bought any kits to wire my headlights up... I don’t know shit about electric ⚡️, I figured out how to hook mine up on my own... these guys have a plug and play adapter and still didn’t get it right.
klowny1969 wish I could upload pictures of mine, I just swapped couple wires around to color match when u plug them in, and added a ground wire to the high beams... so low beams have the one row and a middle dot lit up, high beams the bottoms fully light up and the low beams turn off completely, now with out grounding the bottoms lights all 4 light up like on the video...

Is there any way to have the full light on low beams only and be able to have them on in high beams too ?
Yeah u can do that, you just have to wire it that way. Split the low beam wire..don't forget to subscribe and hit that bell 🔔
if you just buy a set and used them as your high beams while say having hids in your lows when you hit your highbeam switch will the all the leds come on without an issue.
Yes will work.. and dont need a harness for highs. Just plug it in .. dont work flip the harness around

How was the fitment on the Camaro? Did the headlight buckets need to be modified at all? I'm looking at getting these for my '88 Camaro.
