The next day I stopped at New Norcia Benedictine Monastery for lunch. Before the meal, I went for a walk through the grounds and found myself looking down into an old deep stone well ...I was away from that region for many years but returned after my daughter's birth, and over the next 10 years visited the Monastery frequently as a Friend of New Norcia. I now realise it's not just liquid water one finds in a well, but spiritual refreshment, the water of life.
