      I apologise if what i commented was misunderstood or unclear, i meant it as a joke - i see people saying it a lot. I know he's iddqd's editor and he commented that because some people dont read the description. I just meant it as a joke.

      Khaled x I'm not iddqd but I can give you some helpful tips nontheless:
      Perform unpredictable adad movements and crouch if you feel like it.
      NEVER jump during a 1v1. It will make your movement predictable and in turn make you way easier to hit (except for Genji).
      Keep track of your opponents cooldowns and try to bait crucial abilities like McCrees flashbang.
      Know when you can take a fight and when to engage/disengage

    • @NotADoctor
      @NotADoctor 7 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      ShunDongYang People are different. just set your sensitivity thats fits you. copying someone else doesn't benefit you.

    • @chainer8686
      @chainer8686 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Xyrl the tip most coaches give is to try and keep your crosshairs centered on something small, like a bot's eye, and strafe left and right; adjust your mouse sensitivity up or down until you feel comfortable keeping your crosshairs on point.

    • @dxtrum
      @dxtrum 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yesterday on stream he said that as a general rule 360 degrees on your screen should be from one end of your mouse pad to the other end

    • @GinoNL
      @GinoNL 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Ekstrom it’s all about preference. I can aim very precisely so my sensivity is very high. The higher you go, the harder (in general) it gets to play these 4 characters. Also, the higher sensivity you have, the faster your aim will be. Wich is very good for instance, widow vs widow. But good in general aswelI(it’s all about those miliseconds & accuracy). If you are aswell playing with high sensivity, it’s good to use straving with a/d keys and use your mouse a little bit to keep your cursor on the head.

    • @ickerolig
      @ickerolig 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's only one pro player ever, that I've seen master a high sens in any game. And that's toxjq. No one else I've seen with high sens have been able to center and without movement adjustment keep it centered on randomly strafing targets. With that conclusion, unless you're some kind of supertalent, you should probably be close to 35cm/360 or lower if you want to aim well.

    I'm curious about "moving with" the target when playing tracer. I know it makes aiming a lot easier for you, but surely it makes you more predictable?

    • @jacksonbledsoe1451
      @jacksonbledsoe1451 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      MSimp2k6 he mentioned that, he said that you should blink to avoid the damage

    • @astupidlylongnamethatstoolong
      @astupidlylongnamethatstoolong 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      MSimp2k6 Add in double blinks or blink across the target (you might want to practice 180 your aim to the target) to move unpredictability but always follow your targets .

    Can you cover movement in depth? highground movement while shooting? ive noticed many players strafe forward backwards on highground instead of A D strafe, can you cover a bit of that? so movement and a few tips in positioning during team fighths if u happen to be in a really bad spot when it happens.

    • @wiseguy2050
      @wiseguy2050 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Luka Dragovic moving towards and from the ledge when you have the high ground is better than AD because as you move further back, the enemy can see less of your character model. When you peak, you see the whole of them but they may only see your head. Also, it allows for you to dip in and out of sight at different points which forces your opponent to almost predict where you will be next.

    • @lukadragovic5699
      @lukadragovic5699 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      wise guy i knew about the model and perks of highground, but ive noticed they move fast forward backward so im wondering if im making a mistake using ONLY my middle finger from W to S, it feels much slower than using 2 fingers on A and D to side strafe. forward strafing feels so slow that enemy may have the time to take an aim to your peeking head and also you can notice the speed at which IDDQD does it even in this video he can move at the same pace as he can with the side strafing. Is he using 3 fingers on WSAD or 4 ?

    • @wiseguy2050
      @wiseguy2050 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Luka Dragovic oh I see, that's a good point I've never noticed before. I guess it would be difficult to move your finger that quickly but then it is pro players, they're basically machines lol

    • @lukadragovic5699
      @lukadragovic5699 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      would be nice if we could have a tip from IDDQD on that subject!

    • @AnimeReference
      @AnimeReference 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      " it feels much slower than using 2 fingers on A and D to side strafe"
      That's really bad, you shouldn't be changing directions so quickly. If you only move one pixel each way all their shots will hit if they just ignore your movement. You want to move either a head width left or right randomly (including double and sometimes triple movements in one direction).
      The trick with W/S strafing is to keep your finger on S (dodging is quicker than attacking) and to stand further back from the ledge so that you don't have to move as much (but you can't see as much).

    Serious question. Does the DPI + Sens and rest of "calculations" REALLY matter? I mean if you can practice with your self-found sens and be good with it, will tinkering with other things help?
    Thanks for the tips! One thing I did always with soldier was "quad burst". Always click, click, click. very rarely or just in close proximity did pure hold-click spam.

    Correct me if im wrong, isn't there a trick like if you press "Q" first then blink close to the target, there is a bigger chance that you hit the target with pulsbomb? You kinda skip the animation because you throw the bomb, and the bomb will follow you while blinking since you still have it in hand while blinking.

      Jordan
      for point blank head shots with reaper i tend use my movement of going left and right to position my crosshair on their head and a little mouse movement insteading of flick shots cause not all the bullets hit.
      another way is having your crosshair at head level and move foward at blank range while u take the shot instead of strafing to get all the shot gun bullet to land on them. (but you must be extremely close or it makes you easier to track if u move forward when theres a distance between u)

    • @winter9348

    I'm in bronze and I was constantly losing partly because I was placed with complete idiots and partly cause I was an idiot sometimes. But after working on my aim I'm happy to say I've climbed 100 sr in the last 2 days (really good for someone like me)

    • @MrDrew2220
      @MrDrew2220 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ethan Sequeira joke?

    • @AnimeReference
      @AnimeReference 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Doubt it. You can make smart plays (video related) and still lose to children with no concept of tactics simply because their aim is better.
      However it's tough to be proud of a 100 SR gain given that your SR moves by about 100 every time you play (depending on how many healer mains you get on your teams, lol). Though perhaps if you're in bronze you don't play that much.
      But the whole "partly because I was placed with complete idiots and partly cause I was an idiot" goes for any rank. If "bronze" was a typo and he meant GM would you react differently?

    Isn't it bad to have differnt sensivities for multiple heroes? I have the same on all, just so I don't have to adapt when I swap hero.

      Samson T. It's a game on steam that helps reactive aiming, tracking and some cool features, see it and different types of aiming on ioStux's video "Why Ana bots only fuck up your aim" it's pretty helpful

      If you want to be good at aiming in Overwatch, then it's better to practice aiming in Overwatch.
      Because:
      1. Mouse sensitivity might not be the exact same in Aim Hero.
      2. Field of View might not be the exact same.
      3. Movement of the targets are not the same.
      4. Your movement speed and movement acceleration might not be the same (these two things affect your aim).
      5. You don't get familiar with the hitboxes in Overwatch by playing Aim Hero.
