My mom passed in 2006 she LOVED Tom Jones. You better believe every week we all watched his TV show. I was able to take her to see him in concert in 1986 in my town. Had 3rd row seats the concert was In The Round. He gave an AWESOME performance. LOL As usual the ladies were throwing their panties! He picked up a pair, sniffed them and said "I smell something familiar here" He then proceeded to wear them on his head, coving one eye, looking like a pirate! LMFAO My mom was so happy seeing him in concert and I am so glad I have that memory of her happiness.

I had a high school teacher in 1979 tell our class that he would take his wife to Las Vegas to see Tom Jones. He said Jones put on the best show period. We all laughed at him. I'm so sorry Mr. Johnson.

Yikes, that was 51 years ago. He can still belt it out. Found him on TH-cam, singing from his backyard. During the pandemic it was like going to a private concert! He truly is one of a kind.
My uncle turned me on to Tom Jones over 50 yrs ago.....about 15 yrs ago for my Bday my wife got us tickets to his concert, mind you she could not care less about him....one of those "oh brother!" attitudes. The next day she wore his t shirt to work! She was VERY impressed! Next time he came back to town......tickets were purchased! Lol.

I saw Tom Jones 5 straight years in a row in Vegas. Can't tell you how many times men would complain that their wife had brought him into the show. After the show it was always, "We're going to come back next year to see Tom." He always knew how to get the men involved in his shows. He could really manipulate his audience. Excellent showman.
