Can't wait for the clutch to go. Got bored of the burnouts about 5seconds in the first time.
Burn outs are the stupidest thing ever. How about u measure performance in some highway pulls pulling some weight. Truckers don't give a lick of u can spin the tires empty
it's sad because this truck has the potential to be a really nice unit in the US, it can be tuned and it really will be a workhorse
Reason why i unsubribed, such a nice Truck and its getting wrecked.
@@oda27Docwdym?
@@rallycobra5738bro this trucks have have the potential to reach up to 2m km with the same engine and you ask him why wdym 😂.
Us trucks are like ladas infront of European trucks
@@oda27Docand how’s that different from people getting cars wrecked because of having fun.
@@Bobspineable i dont want to watch channels that treat rare vehicles like crap. :)
It's a real shame to see this truck go through all that torture, I was hoping to see it restored.
Question im European but does the 25 year import law also apply to semi's
@@rickvanniedek159 I assume it does, maar ik ben ook Nederlander hoor.
Bruce if you are still thinking of making the Scania a tandem drive rear, check on Mack truck models. Accordiing to my ex Scania dealer mate, Mack imported some Scania trucks into the U. S. and rebadged them as Macks. You may find the right chassis and rear ends to use amongst them. Good luck with the hunt.
Dont waste ur breath this truk is gunna just get trashed
Scania did import trucks into the early 90's, my company had quite a few of them, all pretty heavy spec tandem drive, some hoods, some cabovers, both in straight trucks and tractors with or without knuckleboom cranes. Great trucks, no issues with them, but then they stopped importing them to the US.
Problem: the axles must have disk brakes ends on them.
Mack and Scania have worked together for many years, They came to a mutually benafical deal that allowed Mack to use their patents to produce the Thermodyne engines. They also codeveloped the short block for the E9 v8, Scania built a 998ci engine with the same short block as a e9 but it had different heads, all the blocks for the Scania 998 engine were cast by Mack at Hagerstown untill Mack quit making them.
Rip scania, unfortunately you fell in the wrong hands, give it to the goonzquad for restoration, they'll do an amazing job
It was already a beat to shit rust bucket
That thing was a pos from the rip!
@@jojochibsbecause it landed in the u.s. :)
@@blochumotorsport4095 As an American citizen, trying to move to Europe this is a true statement. It landed in the USA, and fell into the hands of a guy making modifications to it just to almost tip it, and tear it up really bad.
I hope he will restore it one day but it's painful to watch.
Bruce you should take the truck to the Freedom Factory and see if ole Cleetus can drift it 🤣🤣
He probably can in Greece some truckers build them and go Into drift shows and compete them
th-cam.com/video/k2tuNnzRfqk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FEy5HQjFwxWo3Xu4
You're right...Bruce should bring it to Cleetus
Yes
Absolutely
Definitely. Who can do it better
Love the sound and Turbo whistle no other can compare Scania v8 viking power 👍💪👍💪👍💪

Hi Bruce! Here in South America we have had Scanias since the 1950s. They are as incredible and durable as a Piterbilt. I'm looking forward to the next videos hoping for a complete restoration of this 144 V8 hitched to a trailer. You will really like this truck!
Loving all the funn amd messing around with the truck but i would love to see it get some restoration love as well and it'll be a great workhorse and funn toy
Love seeing the Scania, and all your trucks, but don't understand why you are always trashing those amazing vehicles.
Hes trying to have the same sucess as Whistlindiesel
Because it's a pos from the rip, it's not a big deal
@@jojochibs It might be a pos, but aren't Scanias rare in the US? Might as well restore it and show what a proper EU truck is like to the US market.
@@Celciusify I get that, I was just saying it was crap when he bought it
@@jojochibs Lol you're gonna go hate in every reply, and I am beginning to think it's a "pos" because it's not "American" and you're probably 13 years old. xD
It's rusting out, and hadn't had service in a long time and it's been a more reliable truck handling his awful abuse on it more than most of any American trucks I've ever driven and seen. xD
I would like to see it in a uphill dragrace with trailer. Thats the way to see its potential
this comment made my day :)
That frame would probably snap😂
@@moparjr89 Scanias are quite solid in that department. The V8's are regularly used to pull 70tons of lumber on gravel roads. And there's plenty of mountains to climb too!
The Griffin will piss over any truck in the world!!!
@@moparjr89 Scania's are loaded to 104 tons (229281lbs) every day in finnish lapland, all year long, on gravel, on mud, on snow, on ice.
They don't break.
Making Ryan jacking up the cab with the cab lock still on 🤣
Bruce that number one injector has a wire for the ecm and the injection pump for timing reference. It registers needle valve lift position. I work on n man diesel and it uses the same pump and injectors. I’m sure you have noticed it’s a p7100 style pump. They are Bosh nozzles that are easily serviced here in Florida. Look up international injection in boca. Just so you know for future the snap on slide hammer kit for Cummins nozzles has the adapter for this it’s m14 1.5 I think.
The injector with the wires is for the number one injector for timing and quantity purposes.
MAN used a similar system in the older D2876 and D0876 engines.
Why is it every shop bathroom looks like that, damn spend 3 mins once a week and clean the shitter
you're a freak at breaking trucks
The wires on injector 1 are a needle lift sensor. They’re used by the ecu to adjust the pump timing and alter the point of injection of a mechanical injector.
Can't wait to see what your going to do with the truck🤘greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪
Sadly he's going to trash it even more by the looks of it.
We call borderline stripping the bolt Gütentight
Ich kenne nur : "Nach fest kommt ab!"
Meille niin tuttua tekniikkaa Scania, jenkeille outo. Hienoa et Ylivoimalla löytyy tieto ja osat, paljonko lie nyt tehoja tuossa? Here at Scandinavia Scania is so common truck, glad Ylivoimala has knowledge and parts to help you 😃👍

poor truck, wish you didnt beat the shit out of it and clean it up
He's about to restore it and repaint it to stretch the frame.
He doesn't actually know how to restore stuff. Actual talent would negate the need for his constant click bait.
@@Savagetechie clickbait, is the title misleading?
@@jepthefish2108 probably, it's standard practice for the channel. That poor scania!😢😢😢😂😂😂😂, any ideas what your going to do to the rare chassis?, love your videos! Keep up the great work, blessings from Ireland 🤟☘☘☘
The injectors are 14x1.5 metric. The wire is a needle motion sensor
In this engine you could remove all the eletronic stuff. It uses what is called an EDC (Eletronic diesel control). Its just a mechanic bosch fuel pump with an eletronic regulator. Take to any service shop and they can remove the eletronic stuff and put an all mechanical one. You just have to make an trottle cable and pedal.
Pissing away more of daddy's money, millions of views, ya right
This man's out here deStroyIng that clutch!!!
I just saw a brand new DAF on I-5 in Washington State, I believe it is being tested by Paccar.
You can import one if you have the money also paccar might be using it to test hydrogen stuff idk
Paccar has a testing center near where I live, there are Peterbilts and Kenworths driving around all the time with flatbed trailers with big concrete weights. It's just odd to see a European truck on the road and the first time seeing a DAF in person.
Daf belongs to the Paccar group the Paccar engines in US trucks are actually Daf engines developed in Europe!!!!!!!
That new DAF is a PoS! Trust me!
Made in holland
I believe your in love with the Scania man because Scania is love in Europe we call it the king of the road
99% of Owners / Drivers of Scania Trucks on this side of the world look after them Unfortunately this fella is nothing but a MUPPET R.I.P.

Scania v8 rules 👍💪👍
I want to see you race blue collar again with every new mod on the Scania!
Ohh that’s coming soon!
@@Bruce_Wilson Hell yeah brother!
With heavy load.
Everyone knows Blue Collar is still better
Where is blue collar?
I can't believe you actually showed how fifty your toilet is!
those injectors cores are worth beaucoup money. you have to send them back to Scandinavia so some vikings can forge new ones in the caldera of a volcano in Iceland.
Good luck! Killing that beast of an engine, you should put the engine in some Other truck
BIG difference with the new injectors. Idle is much smoother than before! Before it always sounded like it was dropping a cylinder or 2 at idle. I'd love to see this thing hooked to a proper trailer at some point to see how it pulls in the real world. Definitely going to need vertical stacks to get that smoke off the ground!😄👍👍 *EDIT:* You'll have to watch those EGT's now that your pouring more fuel in there, so you don't liquify an exhaust valve or three.😉
It should be fun to see the differens in fuel economy between the scania and the blue.
"Copper washers made of brass"" yup direct quote right there lol, but hey great video as always, keep up the great work 👍
There is a skrew att the back of the cilinder of the brakes (24mm ) you just need to reléase a bit (it does not come lose) it Will diable the brakes
”new finland” 💀 its just Finland
I L❤️VE THAT SUPER POWER SOUND V8💪💯
❤ breaking 😢 such a pretty scania ..the engine is bullet proof here in holland its used a lot in cargo ships on max 1800 rpm we love them and keep them running for ever
In cold winters they sound like all bearing are worn out .. when warming up she sound like a swiss clock😊
Try to find a DAF with the 1160 turbo intercooler engine they are pretty awesome too
Sad u didn't pro protect the air brush Saab logo that was cool logo
Always majorly saving my life motivational to me..... Salute , Blessings to everyone's grind and motivations.....
You have the injectors now you just need the turbo off the pulling truck 😂
These destruction videos are getting old!!
Optimus prime stacks would look cool on this machine
Wooooohooooo oh man

I'm impressed that your urge to burn are bigger than the worry for spare parts 😅
More Scania videos, fucking love it.
Yeah get it to the shop before you fuck it up any more ! 😂
Also maybe a hammer puller for that stubborn injector.
Fuck, just as i texted it you used one. 🤪
awsome content
Резина крутая, зимний вариант "шиповник" 😉
H-pump has electronic controlled timing, that no. 1 injector has needle lift sensor to control it.
Is this system capable of adjusting the injector pump timing, by using a VVT style pulley to drive it? This is what I would imagine it to be.
@@davidrobert2007 no, it is sleeve controlled timing.
Hopefully it isn't too hard to find replacement wheels for your scania, frankly I am up for seeing it ripping but part of me worried like : "Hopefully Bruce has wheels coming in to replace these or at least similar sized ones 😭🤣
Another quality video of fucking up the truck more. This would run rings round them other trucks you got if you knew what you were doing
22:30 time for drift. Now I can leave
before mod these scania fuel efficiency is like prius now its like american
dont rev it with cold engine
Nice to see that Finnish company gets you the parts!
I feel bad for them
Bruce plum another trailer brake control ( trolley brake ) into the front brakes for " line lock to do better burnouts
Do a good old Fashion Tug of war that old peterbilt in the background vs Scania
Ahh yes the brass washers 😂🤣
What’s happening with the blue pulling tractor
Watch huge Trucks at Skåne truck show 2023!
It must be really expensive to have Mickey mouse behind the camera 😂😂😂😂😂
There the famous race trucks we used to see alot
Nice aco 2:05
You should take that truck to next year's Bristol Tennessee Brunout competition...
Im just here for the Scania
I would like you to try that Scania with an American semi-trailer to see how it handles.
Hello Bruce I was wondering how much for the white Peterbilt truck
Can’t wait for new shop videos.
Scania Power ✌️. RABA POWER ✌️
Not sure about Scania but at least VW direct injection diesel engines have knock sensor integrated in the injector - I would guess that's a similar thing here.
Mechanical fuel injection still has the ability to advance or retard the fuel delivery. The sensor is like a cam sensor so the ecu knows when the injector is firing in relation to tdc.
Liitle bit more and only engine will be left from that Scania.. Than you just need to import T cab scania chasis and cab from South America and put that v8 in it :) That would be a cool ride..
That scania is an absolute animal now bruce 😂😂
keep the clips coming
You should do a tractor pull with that truck
(Ylivoima= superiority) and ala = field, or simply if you cant read it at all just say PERKELE😈
in this context it would best be translate to overpowerplant. to convey the intended meaning of the name.
@shaggings may be, but with my 7 years of Finnish language that ia how I understand it
Any cat number with an r at the end of the first 3 numbers is normally a reman
I'd love to see you test a load on it vs our American trucks, maybe just maybe it'll out pull a peterbilt which hope not but... there's that but lol who knows
Put the V8 into a pete long hood with a 18 speed thing will be nuts
Best idea ever!
Plenty of parts too soon international is owned by scania and MAN now their new engine and gearbox is basically scania not a lone star with a 16ltr 770 v8 would be something to see
@@marknewell7355 Doubt Scania will bring the V8 in to the US tho, I have a feeling 16L 770HP V8 won't be appreciated too much due to the fact that there aren't many hauls in the USA where that power will be needed.
That scania v8 had more torque stock than all their engine now its probably at 660 700hp and about 3000 ft lb cant wait to see what you do with it bruce big pdi turbo and some dynoflex exhaust may be pit it in a peterbilt chassis fuck know they are cool regardless
Sir, you doing great job!
It for sure needs stacks
It’s probably a tachometer single
Nope it’s a position sensor for timing it’s connected to the EDC module
Those headers are tiny upgrade those I bet it would make a difference
That be a pulling truck if doesn't completely trash it. But his toy.
Love a dually cause if I blow a tire I have 2 extras and of I blow 1 back one I still got 1 to get somewhere 😂
Thanks for another great video love watching your content !!! Keep up the amazing work 😊
What project? Project the distruction of the scania...
That thing sounds so good. Needs a biger turbo tho in my opinion.
He said a bigger turbo is on its way
I would laugh if he laid it on its side
I agree with your comment!
That would be kind of funny wouldn't it 😆🤣😂 would make good content like he wanted
obvious its a Scania everybody in Africa and Europe love Scania
Now need to add some fuel with new injectors
Where can I find that long socket thingy
