- This is how I make my simple and easy pasta sauce. And to be honest, I dont measure anything! hahaha I toss it in, little bits at a time, and taste test it until I get it just right! This is a fantastic way for me to use up what is in my fridge....meats, vegetables, you name it. I love to throw zucchini and yellow squash in it.....you can even toss in carrot shreds. The sky is the limit! Add whatever YOU like! :D It's your sauce! Be creative!

Fantastic idea and I just subscribed.

This is a great idea to help them financially during this trying time. So watching all her videos over and over, and watching the ads, will help them earn more money from TH-cam, right? I am not sure if he had life insurance so this would be a great way to help them if we are unable to donate anything monetary.

It's breaking my heart seeing so many wonderful people that I don't know or never knew until I hear them mentioned on someone's channel. for me it just makes it worse seeing how wonderfully happy and in love people can really be. myself I never got to enjoy this but i am old enough to understand why. At 60 I believe I might be starting to finally grow up. I would love to experience this kind of love one time..

Could you imagine living through something so awful, so instant, so final...just minding your own business driving home from Valentines dinner...probably thinking about the week ahead, plans, groceries, and then a drunk driver takes it away..in a flash. Takes a daddy from his kids,, a husband,, uncle,, friend,, coworker..Life is precious, I am also watching her videos as much as possible. My heart is aching for her.

I saw Heather’s announcement around 1 am pacific time shortly after the release. I cried, clicked on the GoFundMe link and then woke my husband up to hug him. I’m so, so sorry for this tragedy and hope we all support Heather in her time of need

My Italian grandma taught me to grate a carrot into my sauce to add a bit of sweetness and cut the acid. :)
Great idea about the grated carrot!!
My Grandma did that too. I've continued her tradition and it adds a little more fiber too. sometimes, I'll use a couple of dark brown sugar instead of white table sugar - gives a deeper depth of flavor, I think.
Sounds good, also adds vegetables to the dish!
Cinnamon also reduces the acidity

This stuff is not my cup of tea but I have benefited greatly off the food/canning my wife has learned to make from her. For this I am eternally grateful for. I love a good homemade spaghetti/pasta sauce. If you don't want to add sugar to your sauce, throw in a carrot while it's simmering. it will take some of that acid taste away.

Try adding a carrot grated along with your other veggies instead of the sugar, its helps with the sweetness and lessens the acid.

HEATHER the first video I ever seen of yours was the hardest one you’ll ever had to make. My heart goes out to you and your family and friends all your viewers and every one is in my prayers It took me a few days to watch a video that had Matt in it with you. I could tell just by looking at his awesome eyes and beautiful smile but he was such a good person. Also by the pictures that were at the end of your memorial to him I could tell he was such a good daddy and husband. I lost my husband 13 years just a couple days before Christmas 27 years ago so I can relate to what you were going to go through that day forever changed my family‘s lives forever. I do hope you get to come home soon and be with your kids I will be watching more of your videos. God Bless
