Found my way to your channel via Dive Talk, but clicked on this video because I love Orange Grove! I earned my cavern certification here last Jan (2023). We made a couple of trips to the sign, laying down and retrieving line as we came and went. I'm usually diving murky water and filming in 1080, but I was shooting in 4K for the first time here since the water was so clear! I wasn't prepared for how quickly my battery life would drain in 4K, so rather than film the entire dive as I usually do (and edit later), I was only turning it on here and there to capture select moments. Only out of the water at the end of the day did I discover that many times when I thought I was capturing awesome footage, I actually wasn't even recording at all! That capture button is squishier than I realized. Oh well. Lesson learned. At least I captured a little footage (though almost nothing from the tunnel to the sign) and have some good memories of exploring this beautiful cavern! It's shocking how dark the water was outside the cavern 😳

That's one of the great things about Orange Grove...even if the basin is dark and crappy, the cave is usually beautiful. The video and pictures are great, but they don't hold a candle to the memories you make. It has happened to me more times than I care to admit to. :)

I noticed more narration in this video than in those I previously reviewed. From my perspective, I find the narration engaging. I do believe it adds significant value. Thanks again for posting, and best regards.

Thank you so much for watching and for the valuable feedback. We greatly appreciate you and the fact that you have shared a part of your day with us, when there are so many other options out there. It’s very humbling. Thank you!

I think the growth in views and subscriptions is a function of the frequency and quality of your posts. I search TH-cam using keywords when researching subjects of interest. After I view one or several of your posts, TH-cam "suggests" more of your posts, and I think this is the process by which it reaches more and more viewers. I believe you are on a roll. I live in the Houston area. Jason and Matthew Caddell are good friends of mine. I expect we will cross paths at the cave sites at some point (I hope)...

@@anthonyflynn5406 we look forward to being able to thank you in person. We will be adding more videos soon. The feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us to develop our format moving forward. Thank you again and with luck, maybe we can all dive together in the near future.

Have not been cave diving since January. Looks like conditions there are pretty bad. We are planning on diving there tomorrow morning. Most likely Peacock 1 hopefully its clear enough to dive.

@@floridaadventurediving144 that may be a weekend thing. They didn’t mention it and the place was a ghost town.

About the new unknown TH-cam subscribers, if the TH-cam user doesn't have the setting marked to allow that feature, TH-cam won't identify those new subscribers.

Very cool, thanks for the share, but did you have a conversation with the crayfish? Do you speak cray?

I’ve been taking Woody’s secret class… “Fishish 101”. The next chapter will cover crayfish. 👌🏻😂
