Ok. I don’t comment much, but I have to share how impressed I am with Mike. (The contractor, mechanic, electrician, plumber, MTB’r etc…) not to be confused with Mike the cameraman, who is great. Or confused with me, also Mike…
Also, Mike the incredibly talented, right hand-man to Matt, who is also incredibly good-natured and somehow handles Matt’s OCD, and general demeanor quite well, No offense to Matt, he’s an incredible businessman and has accomplished a LOT!
But Mike is someone that people would kill to have working beside them. And, a mountain biker? Which I have been doing for 30 years. So yes, I’ve seen most of your videos, my wife shakes her head every time, (she doesn’t get it 😂) Just a shout out to the OG crew, especially Mike, I hope you’re paid extremely well! You’re amazing!
(I’d also be curious how many times per episode you say “Mike” to your camera man. 😉) never change, Mike! You are worth your weight in gold…
Thanks for the great content, I’d love to rent, “borrow” that beautiful place in Hellen, but I’m in CA, and afraid of of Matt. But he would love me, I’ve never left a place I’ve rented WAY better than I found it, it’s just how I roll (I guess I have my own OCD too) I hope you continue to use that “gift” to your advantage, Matt. It’s served you well so far…
Maybe I will consider borrowing the destination OG place after all, we’d love to try the trails out there in Hellen. And that sim at the house looks amazing.
Please remind me the best route to speak to Matt about borrowing the Hellen place, a bit overkill for just my wife and I, but she gave me the nod.

Mike, if I recall, there was a vid. you did where you got a 4 Runner for your daughter that lives in Chicagoland?! There's an ace Toyota certified tech. who opened his own shop in Homer Glen who's a Tuber called The Car Care Nut. His style is totally OG spec. should she need any service done there. I drive 150 miles to have him service my 2 Lexus's and couldn't be more impressed with his workmanship and knowledge.
I just recently came across the 600k mile Lexus video.
That's a crazy project that creates good content. He's a good honest guy that has more integrity than any dealership.@@MikeFigueira-OG

Built a similar shed behind my house a bit over a year ago. I didnt put any sort of plastic under the floor and Im noticing if I sit something on the floor, there is moisture under it when I move stuff around. Wishing I would have put plastic under the sheathing on the floor.... Mine is a bit different in that its on posts, so Im going to try putting plastic on the ground under it.
I think they removed that plastic it was just to prevent rain water to ruin the shearing as it was being built
@@Deagles456 He did, Im talking about something different though. Im talking about putting plastic (or maybe house wrap?) under the sheathing on the floor so moisture coming out of the ground doesnt make its way into the building.

QUESTION: If you were to use your at home pressure washer setup to be the foundation of a soft wash house washing setup (Bleach based house washing), how would you do it?
I've gone down the rabbit hole to avoid building my own soft wash system to wash my house and I think I have a solution but would like to hear what you would do. THANKS! 👍
You would need to open up the orifice pretty wide to bring the pressure down substantially. I don't know much about softwashing, but I don't think a traditional pressure washer is what they use.
@@ObsessedGarage ok thanks I was hoping you had tried it. It can be done with either downstream injection and a J Rod or through the use of a M5 xjet. The uncertainty I have is with a 2 gpm pw versus the higher gpm pumps house washers use. Anyways thanks!

I didn't use prints. I designed it to make the most of material with as little waste as possible. 12'x20' with a 6 in 12 pitch does that.
What would Mike be doing if he wasn’t working with Matt in OG?
Mike is going to spend 4 weeks on this thing and then the next week Matt goes and buys a 25,000-sq foot building.

Why didn’t the roof get 16 inch centers? Looks like the walls did.
24" spacing works better with the 4'x8' plywood roof sheathing, the edges have a nominal edge of truss to nail down to

The cordless Milwaukee is great and I actually own one however the Dewalt stand is better so until I get around to adapting the two I'll use the Dewalt
