Hey new to your channel!! As a reseller and small business owner I think poshmark is being a bit shady .,..how am I supposed to make good business decisions if the fees are unknown due to different taxes. Since I have a website for my handcrafted skincare I have created a clothing collection and now cross listing there (Shopify ). Not leaving posh, just trying to have more control over my business and building more of a personal customer base while saving them money! Orders I get will include my website info with offer off on their first order. PLUS I can send out monthly newsletters of what's new in my closet ect! I am putting a video together about it! Hi Jenn. Welcome back! I have purchased two items on Poshmark since the new fees & the new fees make me think twice before purchasing. I will continue to buy but will shop around more, make bundles, & look for sale now. The way I see it, Poshmark has increased their overall sales by that extra 5.99% & that $1, $2, or $3 more dollars they are charging customers. This will only works if they continue to sell to customers. Thanks for another great video.
Your trip sounds wonderful. Ebay has been laying an egg for me. It seems like I have sent out offer after offer after offer and nobody has been taking the bait and a few lowball offers (like 75 to 90% off) that would cause me to lose money. It seems you have to list consistently for several weeks to get good sales, but you get off track for a few days and they disappear. I am guessing many poshmark sales are in the $15 to $20 range so they are doubling their profits if they make the same or slightly more off the seller AND the buyer. Even if people do make more money or higher sales, I am wonder if it is short term gain for long term loss. If people quit poshmark or are willing to spend less to offset the fees, then sellers also lose out. Also the 'buyer protection' fees are just a way to market the fees to the buyer, before the fee they were able to get their money back if the listing didn't fit the description or they buyer never sent it. I have gotten some poshmark sales since the change and haven't noticed a drop, I had one over $50, but most of them in the $15 to $20 range.

I haven’t had any Poshmark sales since the changes took place. I don’t like added fees as a buyer myself so we shall see what happens. I really need to get a Poshmark automation tool I don’t share hardly so I’m surprised I get sales on there at all 😂
I’m the same, no automation for Poshmark and when I sell something it’s always surprising. 😂
@@stephanienoble2926 try Flyp it shares and cross lists for $9 a month. Not sure if it is as advanced as posher VA but it definitely helps to get those shares in if you don’t want to spend much money
Poshmark is very inconsistent for me. I will just keep on keeping on and see what happens.

Hi Jenn! Happy Anniversary. I sell on Poshmark part time. I made more on a $14 sale versus a $15 sale. But state sales tax will be a factor. I did not hear you mention the discounted shipping for Posh Ambassadors on the whole closet through December paid by Poshmark. I hope this discount becomes permanent.
The worst part is that poshmark takes more from us on a $15 sale and also takes the same from the buyer so they get over double the fees from a $15 sale. I tried to offer a $14 counteroffer when a buyer offered $15 for an item (figured I'd save them a few dollars plus myself a few since, but I couldn't do that). Since a lot of sales are between $15 and $20 on poshmark, they make so much more in fees. I imagine that buyers will either be turned off or offer lower. For example, if I expect to spend a total of $60 on an item, I will adjust my offer price if there are extra fees attached.
I’m not a poshmark seller so I don’t really understand the new fees. It did sound to me that your fees are changing a tiny bit but they are double-dipping with the buyers?
Actually that $1.99 shipping is a Poshmark promotion on your first live show purchase. Everyone receives that with their first purchase from any show.
It's an overall reduction if you buy from abassadors. Not sure how long it'll last. I can see that anyone who buys from my closet gets the discount.
@@christinegreen3974 buying from an ambassador’s closet gets the buyer $5.95 shipping on every purchase through the end of the year. The $1.99 shipping is on your first purchase only from a posh live show.

Watched a video from McTriftzie (not sure of the spelling), she has a bigger profit on each item sold, maybe because the sold price is higher?
