This is just an average night around fall city, north bend, Snoqualmie. I chased them off my deck a few times, when i lived in fall city, usually sniffing at my bbq. As soon as they see you, they take off like greased lightning!
Nice PTZ camera, and I love how the Holts deck is built around those two cedar trees! Hope the gate still works after all that weight was on it for that long.
I couldn't live like that knowing I could walk out the door and be mauled by a bear. Always check cars, make sure windows and doors are locked up. No garbage laying around etc. Very risky
Normally, yes....but we've had a really mild Winter here in the Pacific Northwest, so many bears start to come out of hibernation early when the temperature rises abnormally. Recently, we had high Temps around 60 degrees.
This is so sad. 😢 bears should be hibernating and this one is trying desperately in vain to get food in the middle of winter 😮😢 honestly i would just plant alott of berry bushes or honey hive or something they like to eat so they don't wake starving and nothing to eat.

Now imagine that this was a 3,000lbs brown bear that could just lean on that door and break it..... That's what the federal government is trying to bring back to washington.

These people are extremely lucky they lock it up tight because you dont want to scare a bear in you underwear😂 in the middle of the night

When you live in bear country, yes. Bears are born with their ancestors routes. Bear travel the same area they are born.
