1966 Karmann Ghia parked since 1984 - will it start? Will it run?

Through some friends this 1966 Karmann Ghia found me. It was under a tarp inside a garage with a few other VW's. According to the inspection sticker, it hasn't been on the road since 1984. Can we get it roadworthy? Will it run?

Thanks, I believe I will :) Still have to do some brake work and some other minor things to make it roadworthy but it hopefully won't be long.

I miss my 65. It was starting to go tho. Doors weren’t shutting right. That was concerning. This was an awesome video. Well done

Shouldn’t this car have low back seats? It’s in good shape. Did you get it for a good price?

@@Staygoldfarms I believe it should. The high backs is what was in it though. I think I have a set of lowbacks in the garage but if I do they're most likely in rough condition.

They will run but for how long weak ass springs and sludge isn’t good
