When this patch came out I literally thought to myself, "I wonder if Keejchen keeps up to date with this game anymore and/or plays it on his off time." What I didn't even consider was that we'd get a video from you! It's a great holiday gift and I look forward to watching this playthrough (however long it ends up being.) Hope things are going well for you in your personal life, good sir!
You are back with Stoneshard! Woohoo! I noticed, that the survival tree and everything around it got fleshed out and cooking is very nice! I am hyped! I am playing a fire mage currently. Feels easy, but I still have to find out how the curve is.

I think I will finally buy the game, after 4 years of just watching it. All the inventory management kept me away from it, too many mechanics for such a limited space, but the feeling when you beat the boss and the high tier bandit in an unlikely scenario was such adrenaline rush!
Actually the inventory management got a lot better now with all the different bags, but especially because you can now store up to 1-square small valuables in your purse and they'll take the space of 100 gold coins. I didn't have huge inventory problems since this patch, most of the time I have plenty of room to spare even at 2-skull dungeons (haven't gotten any multi-lvl tier 3 dungeons yet).
But without spending a skill point, I can shoot twice as often. Overall taking aim is an improvement, but I am not sure that I think it is worth the skill point.
@@MrKeejchen If you want to go for ranged later it's worth it imo. If you just use a crossbow at the start of a playthrough to get a few hits in on low lvl enemies because your main weapon still sucks, you probably shouldn't take it. The high lvl crossbows have a really high accuracy malus, like -40%, so unless you really skilling into ranged combat, you'll either deal no dmg with a bad xbow or constantly miss with a good xbow even with take aim.
@MrKeejchen As I said, low tier ranged weapons are meant to be usable by almost anybody. Higher tier ones you actually need to committ perk points to, so if you only get a few perks it feels like a waste. All or nothing!
@@MrKeejchen So, the way it works in Stoneshard is that every ranged weapon has a substantial penalty to Accuracy. That's because simply shooting a weapon is equivalent to hip-firing or spraying&praying - it works with automatic firearms, but we're talking bows here. Hence, you actually need to aim with them before letting the arrow loose. Taking Aim grants you a massive albeit momentary (1 turn) boost to Accuracy that offsets the penalties. Sure, it takes a turn, but its better to shoot once every two turns and hit that shoot twice and miss both times. Also, Taking Aim grants a nice bonus to damage and range. Of course, to each their own, but playing ranged in Stoneshard is a real pain without this skill.
When I saw a recommended video of this series, I was like: "'Key-chjen' where have I heard that.. *Clicked the video* Oh it's that Danish Stoneshard guy!" - velkommen tilbage! Will you go back to streaming?
@@MrKeejchen I think without take aim bows will be mostly for pulling enemies rather than main source of damage. Take aim also gives a nice bonus damage and extra range. Maybe use Xbows if you are not going for take aim since they have more accuracy? On my hunter i stop using take aim only after i reach about 20 in precision, and even then i cannot hit every time.
I have been made aware that the music was too loud in this episode, next episode will be better (hopefully).
as others have said: it wouldn't be a Stoneshard update without a Keejchen playthrough! glad to see you making this again :D
Too kind!

@@MrKeejchen Glad to hear it!
Ok here we go
Enjov the ride
omg he back
You'll need to take Taking Aim in the ranged weapons skill tree and use it right before every shot, otherwise you'll be missing a lot
But without spending a skill point, I can shoot twice as often. Overall taking aim is an improvement, but I am not sure that I think it is worth the skill point.

@@couchpotatoe91 I don't think this is a real ranged build though. If it is, it's a bad one :)

No :) but I'm happy to be remembered
hello fellow greeny 🍄
Hello Mr Stabby
more skills in archery would have been a better idea seeing as thats your main dps but you can hardly hit anything.
Just wait for better bows and higher perception stats.
