You can see here that one of the best players in the world, with a wedge in his hand, and doing the shot over and over so he can see what the wind is doing and where his shape is, still hardly hits it that close. Like he was saying, the pros don't just stick pins and make every putt all the time. They're usually playing the numbers, hitting the middle of the green, and 2 putting or getting up and down when they miss. So many people hit one a couple yards short of the green or just offline and get mad at themselves, while not putting in a tenth of the practice that these guys are who still don't flag every shot. Go easy on yourself.
Beau was succinct and pragmatic. Great guest, and I actually learned a lot from a video I came to watch for entertainment value. Awesome work as always, EAL!
02:43 My sentiments exactly, "Pure Luck"! Don't get me wrong I'll take it. I have had "Eagles" before but an "Ace" is not such a big deal for me. You usually have to hit a good shot and get lucky.
Hey Erik - when can us followers expect you to announce the winners of the wedges (first comment, first guess of who gets the ace on cam, best hole-in-1 story) from the Matty Wolff video?
Erik, love your channel... I would say remember that when corporate people get to majorly influence what the content is, regardless of the good intentions, it's never as good as your own ideas. It's exactly the same as studio mid level managers giving notes to creative people in Hollywood about sitcoms. Ace cam is much better when it's one shot per person from your random golf club. I'm sure you're making good money, but I'd say take a break (only a break) from the cash fueled stuff and try a bunch of new ideas, (yes, some of those new ideas will do as well as a snapped driver left, but you're the editor, so who cares) until you find new magic by making shit up on the fly. I repeat, love your channel, just got bored with this.
appreciate the feedback, although this was 100% my idea! That said, Taylormade supports RGC and had a big giveaway at our last event in LA. But agree, its all about staying in the process.
Yeah I agree with this statement whole heartedly, love the course vlogs when he is with his crew but this corporate stuff can get tiring indeed, almost feels like a golf channel special 🤷🏻♂️
Still way different than everything else on TH-cam, podcast interview while hitting some wedges. A great discussion, interesting guy. Hossler is the real deal. Sharp guy, a really great interview. Well done EAL.
Beau was a lot more interesting than the other 2 so far, though I have loved this series so much
zeldaprime I thought beau would be the one to make it, classy guy hope he gets him 1 on tour
7:22 “dude these are all over it” as he hits one off the green
Padraig Power you word for word said what I wanted to say lol. And they’re only 125 out how are they struggling to see that it’s not even close 😂
Hahaha my thoughts exactly.

My favourite of this series so far. Never heard of Beau before today and his philosophy on golf is brilliant.

Saw Beau on Me and My Golfs recent video and thought he was really good. He doesn't disappoint here, either. Top guy!

wasn't a hossler fan before this... now.. well EAL has a way to make you see a different side of folks... well done!
Amazing video once again man, just killing it atm
Beau is pure class
Shout out to the greens crew for making that green look brand new!
That divot cam is cool. Keeps reminding me how much more grass I need to be kicking up
Excellent shows Erik! Rally enjoying them.
could listen to him all day
What a great kid. I’m a little biased b/c he played college golf at Texas 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I love this guy. A pro, but still learning and wanting to improve.
Is that badger from breaking bad?
Love getting to hear him talk about what he's working on and his thoughts during the swing.
awesome insights right??
Erik definitely would say any of the tries counted and honestly I probably would too just because Ace Cam automatically grants it official status
Beau is a beauty!
What an intelligent man. Love this series
EAL is my favorite youtube/series/podcast ever
Just love this series, so good!
Man I knew I like ole beau. What a good gent
This video gave me a lot more respect for Beau after watching it
Beau would be a great commentator.
Man I thought I was going to be the first Beau on tour😢
Beau Knows Golf
My money is definitely on Collin Morikawa if anyone is going to do it. His iron/wedge play is on point.
no BS, I like it
I'm just surprised the pros aren't getting that close to the hole
EAL, you golfin' during this self isolation period? would be great to see just you and camera in the best kind of isolation, you and the golf hole.
its wild this man played in a us open at 16 and then 17 too
Saw him on meandmygolf, seems like an intelligent dude.
Erik i do like that this must have been all filmed on one day and you have a different outfit for each episode. Stylin my guy.
Haha two days and one reason is can you see how sweaty I was after one session? Had a towel to dry off!

I'll be paying attention to this guy in the future. He has made close to 4 million in tournament earnings in 4 years. Never won once. Not a bad life.

love your vids bro!!
Appreciate it!
Beau is instantly likeable!
His description of his putting sounds a lot like your boy's Dr. Parent's teaching!
Need some random golf club action near Portland Oregon!
Beau’s alter ego is barstool lurch
That putting mantra is money. Give it a chance!!! You will hole more putts 👍🏼
„You know what I mean?“
ACE CAM!!! :D
Well he did it yall
Seems like a great guy.
Wow, Hossler can actually smile and laugh. I don't think I've ever seen him smile during an event. Always looks angry.
More filmed from the back so that we can see the ball flight would be a good addition.
Hey EAL, what camera is used here? The one with the good quality and smooth bokeh
A7S with cinema primes
Time to find out if I guessed right before watching the video.... be back soon.
Dammit all my money was on him
Is this Badger from Breaking Bad
let's not mess around, double eagle cam?
please tell me u made one of these with tiger
What happened to adventures in golf?
Great vids and guy
love this!
He looks like Dustin from Stranger Things
If you do this with me you will be out there literally forever
"Yards?"
The pros swing with more ease less stress
it's not a long hole. Think they'd be more accurate
“...you know what I mean?”

Don’t listen to Mark’s bullshit. I love this version of ACE CAM. Keep up the great work.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Mark just gave his. It's a B A series, keep it up.
Also Hook'Em
not sure how I feel about this guy. I like the other videos more
Nicholas Taylor yeah same here. Seemed to have a weird attitude
Bryan Gray almost cocky i felt. as if he was special
Never heard of the guy before, I liked him. I also liked his ' i just try to give the ball the best chance to go in ' quote .
I hated watching him on tour. Now I’m a fan.
should have played with different coloured balls. So we could see the spread between you two....
I will make a bet on here with anyone that DJ holes one out 🏌️
Bet you it's Maria
Beau fo sheau!!
Taylormade gave you too big of pants my guy
Maybe HE’S not hitting pins. considering he rarely even sniffs top tens in tournaments. Forget a guy who acts like
He’s got it all figured out....
These two need their eyes checked
Slow again, god dammit.
