I bought this one the other week and I’m having second thoughts. The more videos I watch about the Potensic ATOM SE makes me think I should make a switch. Idk if I’m doing something wrong but the camera quality of the videos doesn’t look as sharp as the Potensic. Which one did you like more?
I don't remember the exact pricings of the two models but I think the Potensic (you'll see reviews on this channel) is a more sophisticated product but its also much more expensive so it's kind of apples and oranges.
@ They’re actually both $250 on Amazon so I think I’ll return the Holystone and give the Potensic a try. What would you say makes it a more sophisticated product? And thanks for your response
@ It's really just a gut feel, they were so far apart when I did those reviews, I'd have a hard time really comparing them now. It's just how I remember the experience.
Ok so I’m currently saving up for this and I have few questions…. If it’s going towards a tree and the air is too bad u can’t control it what button or action can u do to stop it And is there a better option drone? If I have any more questions I will Hit you up😂❤
First off...if you ever lose sight, get confused, lose control of the drone... very very very first thing you do is take your hands off the controls. It will stop, hover and you can take a breath and figure out what to do next slowly. In terms of your choice of drones...in this price range there are a ton but I definately am a fan of this one for a first drone.
First time drone buyer. I just got a black Friday deal. Will this be a good drone to capture cool video of weddings, but mostly RC car dirt track racing with possible slow motion options? I would be flying more low altitude but hoping for high quality video.. did I make a good decision?🤞🏼thank you for the great video!!
I actually bought and canceled orders for 4 different models haha.. I decided on the hs720g and just left a question/ comment on that one. But do you think the 720g could get better quality video for rc dirt track racing? Would be just a hover video.. thanks again! Sorry for the questions on different videos lol. @@DOUGandNIKI better quality, than most on-board cameras for the drones I can afford, and consistency of recording source. I use action cams and lighting, and I do a lot of post. Looking to add some aerial shots, and once I level up there, I can go for a drone upgrade closer to 5-10k.

The main questions I would have about this drone is how stable is it do all the functions work and does RTH work well as I did have the 720 and that thing is dangerous

Looking at this as a first drone for you tube footage and also explore while camping etc. I want to pick a versatile drone to start with.
It's certainly good for that but I'd suggest finding something with a 3 axis gimble for YT quality video.

No... this is a ton of fun to fly and learn to fly but NG for any kind of real videography which is totally normal at this price range.

First drone buyer, buying an action camera as well, and looking for something around 300 that I can mount an external GoPro or Osmo Action camera on.

It worked really well for me. It's still a relatively inexpensive drone, it's not going to perform like a $1000 DJI.
