In a video by Huda London (YT True Crime content provider) there is a picture taken several days following the unlivings showing Jack D. with one hand completely bandaged. To me, this makes Jack D. a prime alternative suspect with a motive and a bandaged hand! If I were Ann Taylor I would subpoena Jack D.'s phone records for 11/13/2022 from 12:01 AM to 12:01 PM!

I’m sure there was a list of suspects in the first few weeks until all the forensics started coming back and they started getting all the video footage etc. As an investigation goes on they can clear people one by one based on the evidence being collected and analyzed. It seems so many feel they narrowed in on Bryan from the start and no one else, but that isn’t true. People forget that he wasn’t on the radar for a while. The investigators let the evidence speak and lead them to the suspect, and clear the others along the way.

@ LE has never released anyone’s alibis, but if they were verified as to being elsewhere by those with them, or by camera footage, or by phone activity/gps etc then obviously they can be released as a suspect. So far there is no one that has said they saw Kohberger elsewhere during the crime, nor does any camera footage show him elsewhere and Anne claimed his cell phone would prove he wasn’t in Moscow but so far she hasn’t followed up on that and the prosecution motion challenging the alibi seems to have been pushed aside for now so we won’t know if additional info was obtained to add to the missing pieces required by the state law. JJJ never scheduled the hearing before the venue change. Hopefully Hippler will catch up on that.

You may not enter a sample into CODIS that is incomplete. It is maid very clear what the requirements are for use of CODIS. Secondly, the defense is listing fingerprint analysis as a factor being presented in evidence that will require expert testimony. The defense does not present evidence, it is a reference to the fact that the prosecution is presenting evidence related to fingerprints. They either have his print at the scene or the print of a victim in a questionable location I assume.

Imho the federal grand jury was investigating stalking as it is a federal crime to stalk someone over statelines. I think they couldn’t prove he stalked them based on the law as the victims must know and be in fear. I don’t believe there’s a co-defendant because that person would be awaiting trial along with Kohberger and there would hearings about severing them into separate trials. As far as a CI, I still believe it’s the Door Dash driver. There’s a reason they have protected that person’s identity

They only look into federal crimes. The murders were not federal. Stalking is federal though so my opinion is that the federal attorney for Idaho decided to have the federal grand jury use its subpoena power to investigate. These grand juries are empaneled all year long so it’s easy to ask them to look into anything that could be a federal crime without using too much manpower.
