But by Allah’s grace when I brought khusoo( meditative concentration) in my Ibadah, I have become aware of my psyche and eventually a better individual.I have begun enjoying my life. Alhamdulliah!!!

I am a new discoverer of Islam. I have been able to accept it although now I’m also trying to see Islam through the different states of consciousness I have achieved. I love it that your making a video about the awareness aspect of it. Lately I’ve been seeing Islam as divenly or unconditionally loving and graceful. Although I also think there’s a void of Islam in which there’s many unknown elements in a space of nothing perhaps. I’ve also seen and Islamic channel talking about non duality aspects of Islam. These are all the things the world needs in order for Islam to reach more people many people come to Islam after their level of conciousness has reached a high point. When Islam is thought of in terms of non duality awareness and divine love and grace I see it’s ability to reach more people. If people see it from the void , they will have an opportunity to move through that unknown space to experience Allah’s divine love and grace for humanity. Love your work

This video answered my question to myself. In these past few months I had really become so self conscious and I felt such a drastic change within my behavior and attitude towards people that it shook me to the core. Where I thought I wouldn’t be able to stay calm I actually stayed patient. Allah gave me this beautiful patience in these past months and now I realize why… (I am only 19 year old but I feel my mind has matured so much..)

everytime I listen brother nouman lectures I look at my past to discover the things he's mentioning in order to fully understand the message. In this case, knowing the impacts of for example cursing in presence of others and then avoiding to make that mistake regardless of the situation you are in is self awareness. correct me if Im wrong

I have experienced this. There was a point in my life where I really started getting to know the Book and deen and I felt closer to myself than I had ever been. I used to struggle with a mental disorder called social anxiety and when I got close to Allah(s.w.t) I felt as if that had gone away. MashaAllah. I am not as practicing as I used to be, and I now feel as if my imaan has weakened. I am struggling through therapy ect to find myself again. I am hoping that drawing nearer to my Lord will eliminate all my anxiety and help me find myself again. But this is a difficult process, pray for me please brothers and sisters. Ustadh, I am wondering if I need to go to therapy to cure my social anxiety because I know mental illness is real. Or will Allah(s.w.t) cure it just by being closer to him. Thank you for your response brother. In my past, I felt as if my social anxiety was gone when I drew closer to the Lord. But idk. Maybe I need to undergo therapy. Because I do know mental illness is real. And simply prayer cannot fix everything.

assalam u alaikum. first of i love your lessons. the way you explain things from quran, no one else can that i am aware of. one thing on this lecture that i have an opinion about is that when Allah says he knows more than ur secret, i think what he's saying is that he know what has not happened yet. Your secrets is something that you know has happened. My secret is that i stole money... Allah knows what lies before that all the way to the begging; even before my conception.
This is so true, i ever in the moment when i really aware about myself it also makes want to be a better person, in contrary when i far away from Allah swt its feels like i forget about who i am really are, i wish could get rid all of this bad things so that i able to have selfawareness again.......

True. When you really truly wish to do good. Be good. When you want goodness to be a part of your identity. Allah makes you more mindful. You become more aware of your behaviour and patterns. Cuz you really wanna make sure that you don't end up doing something that displeases Allah.......

everytime I listen brother nouman lectures I look at my past to discover the things he's mentioning in order to fully understand the message. In this case, knowing the impacts of for example cursing in presence of others and then avoiding to make that mistake regardless of the situation you are in is self awareness. correct me if Im wrong

I have experienced this. There was a point in my life where I really started getting to know the Book and deen and I felt closer to myself than I had ever been. I used to struggle with a mental disorder called social anxiety and when I got close to Allah(s.w.t)
I felt as if that had gone away. MashaAllah. I am not as practicing as I used to be, and I now feel as if my imaan has weakened. I am struggling through therapy ect to find myself again. I am hoping that drawing nearer to my Lord will eliminate all my anxiety and help me find myself again. But this is a difficult process, pray for me please brothers and sisters. Jazak Allah Khairun. 💗✨
Ustadh, I am wondering if I need to go to therapy to cure my social anxiety because I know mental illness is real. Or will Allah(s.w.t) cure it just by being closer to him. Thank you for your response brother.
In my past, I felt as if my social anxiety was gone when I drew closer to the Lord. But idk. Maybe I need to undergo therapy. Because I do know mental illness is real. And simply prayer cannot fix everything.
Today I really got the way about which I was searching for years. It's the way to know yourself. Thanks

I thought from the title he was gonna go the direction of getting closer to Allah through self-awareness. As in, one way one can get closer to Allah is by learning about oneself, one's nature, and increasing self-awareness.

assalam u alaikum. first of i love your lessons. the way you explain things from quran, no one else can that i am aware of. one thing on this lecture that i have an opinion about is that when Allah says he knows more than ur secret, i think what he's saying is that he know what has not happened yet. Your secrets is something that you know has happened. My secret is that i stole money... Allah knows what lies before that all the way to the begging; even before my conception.
This is so true, i ever in the moment when i really aware about myself it also makes want to be a better person, in contrary when i far away from Allah swt its feels like i forget about who i am really are, i wish could get rid all of this bad things so that i able to have selfawareness again.......
