Designed for ultimate versatility, Rufus is equipped with a full featured 3-Band EQ that gives you the ability to easily shape Rufus' tone without compromising the sound of your guitar or bass rig. Did we just say bass? Yes we did. Rufus is an equal opportunity fuzz pedal that plays well with guitars and basses - no need to worry about losing your bottom-end here.
Created to enhance your overall playing experience, we developed Multi-Function Technology mf(x). mf(x) is a proprietary foot switch technology that enables you to seamlessly select between Rufus' two distinct user modes, Normal and Fat, during a performance just by holding down it's foot switch. Would you like to default to one mode in particular the next time you turn on Rufus? Not a problem; mf(x) has built in memory that remembers your last mode choice.
Unlike traditional fuzz pedals, Rufus' input was optimized to accept the output of a buffered device such as a tuner or other pedal effects without sacrificing the interaction between your guitar and Rufus. Rufus employs True Bypass switching which totally removes the effect from the signal chain in our dedication to preserve your tone.
I bought a Suhr Riot off Reverb but the seller sent one of these by mistake. Well, I’m keeping this one! It does so many things extremely well. Currently I have it first in chain with the fuzz dimed, guitar rolled off to about 5-6…it is beautifully clean and dynamic. Sparkly, even. At 8 on the volume it’s crunchy and awesome, at 9-10 it is full on fuzz. Amazing pedal, and the price is extremely competitive. The Riot will turn up next week (hopefully), or maybe another nice surprise??

Is it really fuzzy enough to be classed as a fuzz pedal? Seems like more of an overdrive with a fuzzy edge than a full on fuzz pedal. Sounds nice though
It can do Fuzzy overdrive to full on Fuzz. It's awesome

I tried this against a jhs muffaleta and found the jhs amazing in comparison tonally.
hello, great demo, I have a rufus and it emits an annoying hum when activated, how can I reduce that annoying noise
Does it do the same with a battery? It might be a crappy power supply, or cables.. or singlecoil pickups picking-up interference..
