They are actually fans for home audio equipment, that one is meant to be placed flat on top of audio reciever or something like that. The blower fans are for adding airflow to an entertainment center that has closed cabinets.
Not exactly, the blowers are the same thing, meant to be placed on top of a device (although obviously, they work standing up to move air around as well) but are more suited to times where you have less clearance. Not that it really matters. Use them however you need to get air moved around. :D They do sell a line of fans which are mountable in the back of a cabinet as a permanent solution.
Yep. I really like their stuff. I recently bought a dual fan unit for my Adcom 5400 which was going to cook its caps in no time. Don't even hear them running.
I have my pc in a cabinet from a desk from Ikea and bought this but bought the dual one which comes with 2. I love it because I use one for the top exhaust to blow hot air out of the pc's exhaust area and the other one is near where all the cables ares, it blows cold air into the hot air area of the pc's surroundings and it gets even colder when I open my window
For best performance the plug adaptor gives it more power to the USB, I forget the amperage of it. You bought the wrong fan system, what you want is the Axial s1238D fan or fans they are 120V AND HAVE A TRUE CONTROLLER. They move 120cfm a piece at top speed.
Great choice! How did you spend $20, I got mines on Amazon for $13. The multifan s5 I got are pretty quiet and has a good build quality. I have them hooked up to their temperature fan controller. also got their airplate series fans so my whole cabinet can stay cool. AC Infinity makes great products.
how they held up so far? any noise any issue you encounter ? looking to get some for my router and modem? do you know if i'm looking to have them underneath router/modem should the logo side be facing up or facing down ? thanks
i have this on my PS4 Pro www.amazon.com/Cooling-comfortable-Playstation-Gaming-Console-4/dp/B077XFNQ2C/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1525719598&sr=1-2&keywords=dobe+ps4+pro there must be one for PS4 and PS4 slim too Recommended..
I want to put them inside the PC case so that they will help colder it more. But I do not know if they are good enough for it (AC Infinity MULTIFAN S7)
Thanks for answering. Look I would love to use them (normal fans) but I do not know how to assemble them inside the PC and I need to understand where to put these cables and it looks too much work for me and I'm afraid to break thing inside and stuff and I do not want to complicate the inside of the PC. and USB fans are simple. I can just paste it inside the PC in some areas and take the cable out and that's it, How bad can it be?
damn why all the fans are RGB? anyway, how can I install it without removing the cooling processor? this is my PC (i.imgur.com/VD5vLma.jpg) and I want to put fans upwards so it colder my PC more ( also I'm very sorry if I'm bothers you too much)
Hi. My PC tends to get very hot after 20-30 mins of play. Could I put this fan on the top of my PC case and just lay it there?? Would it help my PC to not get so hot?
I know, but the fan itself is a 120mm computer fan which is why I compared the hardware to another computer fan (in this case, Noctua's). As I said, I'm using it to externally cool equipment.
Thanks for this review. I got a pretty good cooling pad www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/notebook-cooler/notepal-u3-plus/ from quite a while ago sadly it has died. But a cool feature was it has fans that can attach anywhere due to the cooling pad having a ton of screw like circle holes. However the holes are the perfect size for these fans and the fans are better than the fans that were on the cooling pad itself. So i will be buying some and using them by screwing them onto my old cooling pad. I don't gotta get rid of my cooling pad and i get better fans honestly a win win. Thank you for the review of the fans.
@@IosifStalinsendsyoutoGulag a pretty dam good amount. Super quiet and it is keeping my alienware super cool. What sold it for me was a video i watched where a guy uses it to keep something for his pets cool and he shows the sound and temps. let me see if i can find it. Oh also they sell higher power fans as well. th-cam.com/video/KFoqkmuKlwg/w-d-xo.html
Depends on what you're comparing. AC Infinity is generally cheaper and work pretty well, but in terms of pure fan quality Noctua is pretty much unmatched by anyone. I haven't used AC Infinity's warranty, but I can speak personally that Noctua's is insanely good (I finally got to use it since I've only had one of my dozens of Noctua fans fail in almost a decade).
AC infinity markets themselves towards use in servers, electronics cabinets and general ducting solutions.

Peter Brockie either way it's a great idea to use anything from them, I've had to many receivers die on me from lack of clearance

AC Infinity is a quality company I use to cooling home cinema equipment

Thank you for your review. The dual fan S7 looks good value for my (hot running) stereo amplifier.

I bet if you take the grills off the fan brand sticker will be under there.
Nope. I checked under there first, there's a black sticker over the fan PCB and that's it.
Peter Brockie ah. I guess they are too clever for us:(
What Does A Cabinet Cooling Fan Do
It cools stuff you have in a cabinet. Like sound amplifiers, consoles, tv set-top boxes, etc.

Amir A.A Use normal computer fans for inside a PC. There is no reason to spend more on USB powered ones when there are hundreds of PC fans available.

Do you think this would work for a laptop?
I'd suggest a proper laptop cooler over this for that job. A laptop cooler will raise up the laptop for better airflow.
@@PeterBrockie okay thanks! Also thanks for the quick response! (:

+Brizzle248 Yes if there is a vent on top, but you are better off using a proper computer fan inside the case if you have available mounts for one.
this isnt a computer fan, this is a router, sound system, etc cooler. not used for the PC
