Today we reacted to the third episode of #KINGDOM an we were so overwhelmed by all the great performances and also spilled some tea about mnet. We already look forward to the next episode so please stay tuned for more! ~ - เพลง

We've read you comments and we felt like we should clarify some things and our statements made in the video.
As we said in our reaction to the first episode of kingdom, we don't really know the groups except for iKON. So we are actually getting to know each group through this show and listen to most of their songs for the first time. Therefore we couldn't have known that stage props like for example ATEEZ's and STZ's were re-used. We didn't watch their concerts/MVs/live performances because we want our reaction to be genuine and we want to not give ourselves any spoilers. It is good to know that these groups re-used many props, thank you for informing us!
As Mnet confirmed that they didn't communicate to three groups about the budget, you automatically have this on your mind while watching the performances, so we often talked about the stage and the differences. For us it seemed like the stairs used during iKONs stage looked comparetivly cheaper than the stairs shown during ATEEZs stage. As said earlier we didn't know that ATEEZ had used these stairs before, we just made comments on what we saw.
You can see in the video (especially in the end) that we never made the groups responsible for this unfair treatment and we blamed it on Mnet, as they are in charge and make decisions. Fact is, three groups worked under advanced circumstances (Ep.1-3), which again is Mnets fault. For us, we feel like it is unfair for EVERY group because competitions are meant to be fair.
The most important thing for us to clarify is, that we really enjoyed ALL the performances. We vibed with every performance and recognize everyone's unique style and hard work in creating these performances. Yes, sometimes we laugh, but that's because we are having fun and are fooling around a bit. Don't take it personally, we are not hating anybody, it's quite the opposite.
Thank you again for keeping us on track! Now you know, why we didn't knew about re-used stage props. We simply didn't want to give ourselves any spoilers. Thanks for your understanding!

Each group has its own agency or company handling them. Their company or agency should give them enough budget to join this competition. Just like Stray Kids being supported by JYP. It's so sad that others don't have that much support from their company.
Ateez debut song is Pirate king so yeah, they doin' it since the begining. Probably that's why they have a lot of things realted to this topic that they could use to this Kingdom performance
i hope none of yall are throwing hate on the groups because of mnets ''mistake''. Normalize blaming everything on mnet.

Another thing too! SF9 was super busy with shows and dramas etc, but also ATEEZ! They were in the middle of a comeback AND three of them were filming for a K-Drama too! It's honestly a little crazy that they were able to do these things, both SF9 and ATEEZ. It truly shows their tenacity and their abilities, being worn out and tired from other activities, but still being able to pull off jaw dropping performances. It's so admirable!
I just loooove Bobby's reaction for Ateez perf, it was so genuine! He's so adorable !!!!
Many props or not, I think each team performed wonderfully ! Having props that are efficient is more important than having props for the sake of having props. Also, I think that YG should now take notes from other companies aboout re-using their stage props, because I think that It'll take iKon on the whole new level ! Without, they're the iKon we all know, swagger, goofy and just you know "iKon doing iKon" but WITH valuable props, goddam !

I can feel so many fandom oucast skz just because they're first on introduction stage. And that also happened to ateez after they announce first for 1st round (eventhough it could be change later). I wish every fandom don't do that just because your faves aren't first. I know the show is wacked but i wish every fandom respect the groups' hard work first before throwing hate.

For ateez stage except for inflatable kraken every props are recycled from their concert . So ateez dont spend many for their performance...
For ikon previous stage and future performance ikon only have one problem and that problem name is "YG" if YG support ikon with meeting with their staff like others group like ateez, the boys or straykidz and
With many concert that ikon done in the past there many prop to use for kingdom for ikon

@@strawberryaster1165 The kraken I think was something the rented. Pretty much everything else is reused props, materials, and costume material from stages, mvs, etc

Skz is actually one of the 3 groups who wasn't informed about the budget change. So they had to recycle some props on their past performances. Chan even threw a shade when the issue came about and said something like "we don't need special ingredients" referring to the budget change that was not relayed on them.
Do you know where/if they revealed which groups officially got notified and not? I’m a multi stan and I can see some but not all cases of recycling props cuz none of the groups on Kingdom are my ult groups - doesn’t mean I don’t love them obviously.
But there are lots of different people saying different things and if we’re being real with ourselves, it’s really easy to fall into the sad idea that this ZZZ thing (The Boyz, Stray Kidz, and Ateez) is accurate if you look at the round 1 performances and the use of props, staging, and costuming for background dancers in particular. That being said, I know all these groups have had spectacular tours and there are recognizable set pieces in this round. So, I’m really confused

also, atinys are saying that ateez didn't actually spend that much on props since almost everything was reused from their live perfs, mvs, and everything.
but I agree with the camera work. it's super amateur on some groups and unjustifiable.

Almost all the props Stray Kids used are from past concerts or award shows so they didn't go over budget
can I ask you a question? where did skz used those kinda walls they had at the beginning of the performance? and the box that bangchan was on top. I'm asking because I wanna see those performances!

yeah they used many props but some of them are recycled, for example the white big table it's from their bts' dionysus cover performance
Actually, the votes they were showing one by one was not done by the experts but chosen by each group participating in Kingdom. Aka from the 6 groups there, no one voted for SF9 and most of them voted for Ateez.
We know that these were the votes of the other teams
Don't get me wrong, i'm a multifandom . and i support all of the group, they deserve better and they are all hard worker. but please do not judge or missunderstood between groups even it's about a props or not but i saw ateez concert they all use a props from their concert.
We're not judging the groups (we also said that multiple times in our video) , it's their right to use the budget they get. We're mad about Mnets treatment. They confirmed themselves that they forgot to communicate the budget upgrade to three groups.

Mnt is really fcking up huge, like first not making sure every group got the notice about the budget, then not revealing the judges who are evaluating the performance but telling us instead they sent links to the judges to watch. Also not telling them about the unfair distribution of the costs so they picked up the ones with more props and colorful perf (not that the groups who did have more props didn't do well, half of them reused their old props and I honestly focused on their story telling more than what was used which what every judge should do) like I get props are there for reasons and not for aesthetics but mnt should've been clear on the matter. Thankfully they allowed no limits for the next round so I hope everyone can enjoy the performances without getting unfair treatment.

about the people who are evaluating the groups, we don’t know who they are like???? it gives mnet a chance to do whatever it wants
it can simply choose which group will win and which will be last
i seriously don't trust mnet
the judges were kinda clarified who they will be in the first episode but not many paid attention to that. if anything unfair about the voting in this show is the fan voting because we know giving the fans this high percentage will results in noting but ranking their favs and discrediting stages that probably were better than them. at least the experts in here are pros unlike in queendom when they literally had a group of people of certain ages (I think or a group of older women. something similar) to judge/rank an episode's performances and they picked the "cute" stage over stages that had more stuff going on than having a "cute" vibe. also its a survival show so whether these experts were actual pros or not, there is no way a group won't rank last + ranking last will literally do nothing to them or harm them tbh because the groups in here are pretty popular in their own especially in their own country which matters the most (minus ATEEZ) if anything this show will only increases the popularity and let others discover groups they may never heard of.
I feel the same way but, if we give less power to the “experts” then that just gives more power to fans to choose who wins, which we know larger fandoms will always out score smaller fandoms when it comes to voting and streaming. Maybe giving more voting power to the groups themselves would be better, I trust them to be more fair than I trust Mnet or the fandoms. But, it seems unrealistic so we are stuck being blind to what Mnet is doing.
But if we knew so would the companies and it would create more possibilities for someone trying bribe them. At least mnet promised to release the list after the show ends, how many award shown never do?
The whole evaluation system is flawed, for example how is giving points for views fair if some of the groups have fandoms 3x bigger than others?
If you guys notice YG groups didn't use that much props in their concert or mvs except to Blackpink the rest they focus on performance it self and giving us catchy songs for us viewers/listeners to enjoy. iKON is like BIGBANG they gives us enjoyable performance than amazed us in props and hard dance breaks.

Ateez performed this stage without sleeping for 48 hours. They were running on adrenaline. This was probably my favorite stage of all of the stages by anyone.
I always hated the budget controversy (it wasn’t fair to those not informed and those while were informed). I kind of think fans pissed off over the controversy chose to “punish” Ateez when they voted. To this day it pisses me off that this stage ended up in 5th.
After Kingdom I was full on Atiny but really came to be a fan of all the groups. But I think I came to dislike MNET a lot.
Yeah, it sucks that the teams weren't given the same information. I read that the first misunderstanding was about whether or not groups could re-use props in addition to the amount they were allowed to spend, but I don't know whether Mnet saved money because I'm pretty sure for Road to Kingdom the group's companies had to pay the stage costs (kind of like when you do a gift exchange at a party, but the host says no one can spend more than $10--the host isn't paying, each guest spends their own money).

Everything in kingdom has to be live seeing ad they’re competing😂
The budget is given but the company, not Mnet, they are just a broadcasting station, it is not their job to deal with the finances and with hiring more dancers more production and more choreographers, it is up to the company how much they invest in their group and it is up to them to decide how much is worth investing and how much they will profit out of it. Ateez is the only group in the company of course their company will invest everything into them: money attention, time and so on. I just thought to leave this here in case some people do not know that Mnets only job is to interview them, provide content, film them and broadcast them, everything else is up to the company. Its business after all. But I guess its easier for people to just call it unfair rather than actually looking into it.
Sorry for some of the harsh comments. I totally understood your criticism. Of course you can’t know about recycled props and everything. Mnet really riled people up about the way they treat the idols. I also wish the competition would be fair because it would be so much better for everyone. Would also create less tension between the fandoms.. but I’m still glad you enjoyed Ateez’ performance from an Atiny view point :D

Another thing, the six performances were shoot on the same day. They all have the same amount of time to prepare the stage & everything.
About the budget, not sure if i heard it wrong fr you, but no.. Skz was included on the 3 groups who were not informed about the budget change. So surely, some of the first 3 groups (ikon, tbz, btob) knows about the budget increase. Maybe they just chose not to spend much.
About the views. It's only counted for the first 3 days after the video released.

This is true. If you don’t know SKZ and how they are then you can’t really judge. That actually goes for all groups. If you’re a SKZ fan, you know what’s up. No shade.

Hello:) Thank you for informing us, we didn't know that many props were re-used because we get to know the groups through kingdom and we didn't want to give ourselves any spoilers in order to react genuine:) We believe that it is a good opportunity for us to get to know the groups this way because the groups bring out the best in them by participating in this fierce competition. We also believe that the performances they bring to stage on kingdom should create the basis upon which every group should be judged at kingdom, so everyone is free to develop views.
We are sorry that you feel offended. We never laughed at STZ/their performance/lines or anything, we were actually having fun and enjoyed the stage to the fullest. Maybe we have a different taste in humour (which is totally fine!!) but we never meant to offend anyone and we hope, that you understand us a bit better by us clarifying our reaction:)
i mean if ikon did have a better company yg is not that goog at promoting and after b.i left i don't think ikon would be the same
Ofc it was unfair because mnet didn't informed the other three groups, but all the props for ateez's stage, except for the kraken balloon are recycled, if you check their mvs you can see them. The only thing kq probably spent was the balloon, so I don't think they were over the budget. Ateez sticked to their concept, so it was easier for them to use the stuff from their mvs. Mnet even said in an announcement that they didn't expect some groups would use recycled stuff.

@@jibmate1806 Yeah, Ateez actually have never used props on stage, in any performance or concert, the only "props" They have used are their flags with their logo in it. This is actually their first time using something like this, so they recycled from their mv thanxx and maybe illusion. About 31:51 Its okay, I wasn't offended, I was just clarifying that because it seemed like you thought it was the experts evaluations, when it was actually the self group evaluations. But I understand your disappointment it was pretty sad :(
Also thank you, because I know you're not blaming the groups, specially ateez for the budget thing, because it was mnet's fault. Sadly ateez have been getting TOO MUCH hate this last week, like is just so sad. I get people wanting tranparecy with the whole judges evaluations, but fandoms have been sending emails, not only for that, but for mnet to practically take ateez points away from first place and distribute it between others groups as well. Even tho I know it was unfair for the other three groups, I think by doing that they basically discrediting ateez hardwork, ateez didn't win because of props as everyone wants to think. Ateez are known because of their stage presence, with or without props they would have nailed it, and in today's ep the judges gave their comments and ateez didn't get a single negative critic, and they highlighted their energy on stage.

Also kinda sad that some ikonics don't "support" ateez when them after the first ranking said they wanted to climb along with ikon...

Hello, we didn't know that some groups re-used props because we didn't watch their concert in order to not give ourselves any spoilers. We are getting to know the groups through kingdom actually. We as iKONICs totally support ATEEZ (as you can see in the video we were sooooo shooketh and hyped) as well as the other contesting groups of course! Everyone has their unique charm and it brings a good variety to the competition.
Yes, we often made statements about the budget issue and Mnet; simply because we are angry at Mnet for not treating everyone fairly because every group deserves to be treated like a respected participant. With Mnet messing up in mind you can't help it but make observations based on this issue. As you can see in the video, we never made the groups responsible for that. We enjoyed the performances either way because every group brings out the best of them. We are already looking forward to the next episode:)
