I love this so much. As a lame intermediate player, who struggles with mixing things up on the fret board, this is a really great simple demonstration of how to add flourish to the most basic chord progression. Thanks for sharing Sean.
A little off subject.. but I have recently found that Martin Guitars are so awesome sounding. Have a J45 Standard, Hummingbird Original, Southern Jumbo Original. Recently purchased a D18 Standard. And hate to say. But I haven't got either Gibson out of their case since the purchase of the Martin. The Martin your strumming on made me voice my un asked for opinion.
Bit too picky, but when you mention the triplets, you say "1 and" for what you were playing before. You are actually playing the first and third notes of the triplet. You aren't switching from eights to triplets, but staying in triplets the whole time.
he talks too fast and uses terms without explanation .. he doesn't slowly show how the fingering works one step at a time .. for a beginner it's far too much to try and follow ...

Can you do make friends by hiatus kaiyote?
If Tyrion Lannister comes up to you and starts making balloon animals, run, don't think, just run. Trust me, it won't end well if you stick around.

There is good information here, but it is rather wordy.
You talk too fast for my beginner brain..

You can slow down the video, it makes easier to get the patterns.
On your phone just tap the gear icon on top left corner of the vid
