- DeNA's definition of a challenge is "pull specific units" but that's to be expected for a gacha company. Anabel demands weather and debuffs. The range of viable units isn't as narrow as you'd think. Variety Lyra, SS Mina, Champion Blue, Irida, etc. all work well. I probably won't experiment much with these Ultimate stages because they're glorified Extreme Battles.

I beat this with champion blue, champion Serena and may, took a lot of tries but I eventually got lucky with zapdos's flinches.
Yep, saw this in one of the recommended teams and decided to try it. NC Blue sustains the group nicely and the team has enough DPS to kill Entei before the Dire Hit All+ so the sides that have been chipped by May don't crit you to death before you clean up.
But it needs a row of rain dance and Serena to b 3 / 5

I fear that I just don't have the units to keep up with this content at all. I never thought a water weak stage would demand so much more than may and egg gyarados.

@@pepus777sadly, this UB challenge is hell for F2P. People accused me because I claimed myself as semi F2P, but I just buy a cheapest bundle, and not always.

Honestly, this isn't my cup of tea, and I don't even have NC Serena or NC Red (lol I have NC Calem and 2/5 NC Blue), so I doubt I can beat this stage unless you have 3 copies of SS Kris, Irida or NC Blue. I have 2/5 Lyra's Vaporeon, and she popped as soon as Anabel sync for the first time even with 2/5 SS Kris and NC Blue as the supports.
I wished the "Ultimate" battle is more like a battle to test your skill with a very limited pool of sync pairs you own (like banning Master Fair or OP units) with decent hard strategies, instead of just seeing the OP birds, frogs and rats running around.
It's fascinating that 1/5 non EX serena could handle this. Of course, Eusine and Kris carries, but still...
NC Serena, SS Mina and SS Kris did the trick for me, but it was really tough.
Update: using Lyra and Vaporeon instead of Eusien is not anywhere near good enough 😵💫 (at least not with 1/5 Serena and Lyra without EX)

I have SS Kris and Eusine but not Champion Serena, what other pairs would you recommend that could go in her place?
3/5 Champion Blue, Variety Lyra, 3/5 Irida, 4/5 Anniversary Raihan, some other aggressive debuffer. Anniversary N or Champion Leaf should work

Do you think you could do a guide for people who don't have SS Kris/NC Serena/Variety Lyra or any other obvious counters? I tried it a couple times with SS Mina, May and a few different debuffers and failed :(
No. The guide would be "pull specific master fairs." Maybe as EX Roles become more widespread these battles will be more manageable.

cleared it using Champion Blue and Serena + SS Kris all at 3/5, but TBH it's too much works just for a mere 300 gems, even Legendary arena gave more rewards than this 😐
My team was red(champion) blue(champion) and Irida 😂 this game just said let slap huge hp and have a them spaming annoying aoe attack 😂😂😂😂 dena made something awfull
I dont have ss kris, eusine, nc.blue so I think I can't beat this stage😅 I atleast have both frogs, ss lysandre, irida and nc.red tho so any recommendations?
The frogs and Lysander had theme skills (especially those ✨*juicy*✨ master passives) but honestly? There’s no telling if it’ll be enough. I saw Irida at least once on the successful teams so there’s proof she works here as a debuffer (and she’s a decent tank once your support goes down).
I’d try the Kalos squad first. Then swap Lysander for Irida. And if that fails, try tears and the dark arts.

@@theblip6950 yeah I tried SS Kris, Variety Lyra, and my 1/5 frog and after Entei synced once it was clear I was not cut out for this 🙃

This stage is built for champion serena 😂,not even able to do any damage with champion red, blue and Irida.
That weird I clear it with that team I couldn't do it with champion Serena single target sucks here 😐
Nope, Ss kris, Eusine and Lyra Vaporean is the best team

@@surajshivakumar9271it's heavy RNG. Also, if you want easy damage, Red should have Tech roll cake.
