The LDAC™ technology is an audio coding technology that enables the transmission of High-Resolution (Hi-Res) audio over a Bluetooth® connection. Unlike other Bluetooth-compatible coding technologies such as SBC, it operates without down-converting the Hi-Res Audio content (except for content in DSD format). It allows approximately three times more data than other technologies to be transmitted over a Bluetooth wireless network with unprecedented sound quality, by means of efficient coding, and optimized packetization.
LDAC™ is a new audio technology from Sony that allows you to enjoy high quality wireless audio via Bluetooth.
With 3x the data transmitted, LDAC provides an enhanced wireless listening experience for all your music.
LDAC enables the transmission of audio content, including High Resolution (Hi-Res) Audio, at the maximum bitrate of 990kbps even over a Bluetooth.
LDAC is a certificated codec of "Hi-Res Audio Wireless". (*1)
Best effort" mode controls bitrate automatically depending on the network condition, ensuring stable connection even in harsh environments.
