    It's not worth it arguing with them. Just talk to a lawyer who deals with consumer cases. Send a legal notice first to the dealer. The dealer will start taking matter seriously only after that. If you didn't get your resolution after sending legal notice you can move to consumer court.

      Going to consumer court is useless... The process is so flawed that one cannot justice !!! The business corporations are quite deep in their pockets and will do anything to cover up... Very unfortunate situation... Had this happened in a developed country, all what is being suggested would be the first option, not here in India. I hope and pray these things change soon as we are moving in the right direction.

    In 2015 same thing happened to me with an rc 390 and the amount of times I visited the service center because of multiple issues I got fed up and sold the bike for half price in 2017 And the loan continued till 2019😢. Poor normal citizens like me was helpless and did not understand they sold me a lemon. Don't leave them until they give a full refund or a completely new bike

    Bro, I understand that this is totally unacceptable but in a way I think that it is for a collective good that this has happened to an influencer. Why I say this is because, a normal middle class person like me and many others might just agitate a bit in the showroom and then go with the available options suggested by the dealership.
    Since you are an influencer and have a better reach, this video will help in reaching maximum people and also the higher ups of the company. It will help people like us to understand how things can go wrong and also may bring a sense of responsibility among the dealerships regarding these things.
    I am sorry that you are going through this but I really hope your preferred solution unfolds for you. No guy should go through this as bikes are very close to heart.

Showroom guys took advantage of it.. brother was in a hurry to "be the first" .. no one will get influenced to buy because its wirh in lakhs and people know how influencers work... influencer cultre is cancer for indian youth and unfortunately its way too late to save..

    Hey, bro. I went through a similar issue with my bike about 14 years ago. A weird sound from the engine, and I had to fight with everyone for resolving it. Suggestion from my side is this: Get in touch with the company directly by reporting this on their website's 'Grievance' page. Fortunately mine was an issue that could be resolved very easily and there wasn't any major issue with the engine at all. In summary, reach out to the company directly so that you don't have to deal with these rascals. Hope this helps.

    Suggestion: File a consumer complaint against KTM India who is the manufacturer. Trust me consumer court reacts to even smaller problems. If you give this as proof, the court will screw KTM who will in turn screw the dealer. Don't bother wasting time with some power hungry nincompoops. They themselves know that they can report back to the manufacturer about a DOA product and fix everything but they're not doing so knowing they must have done something wrong with the 390 they sold you.

    Faced same problem with Hero in Kolkata..later got the bike changed with a new one.. hence will suggest you to do the same thing.. send a mail to KTM India informing them about the whole incident with the dealer and also warn them to make a forward mail to SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturer) if KTM India does not take any action.. am sure dealer will come to you begging within couple of hours

      Bro, hm ne to aj tk yehi dekha hai k ek product shop se bahar a gea to shop owners ki koi responsibility nahi, or warranty ja guarantee bhi bs nam ki hi hoti hai , uska process hi itni conditions, complications or time-consuming hota hai k iska faida shaed hi kisi ko mil pata hai.
      Yar sidhi si bat hai, humne koi product produce Kiya or becha, ab jis bande ne poore paise dekar product ko jis kaam k liye khrida agar vo product partially ja completely fail hota hai to usse owner ko immediately exchange Krna chahiye ja refund Dena chahiye.
      Ab agar nai gadi ka engine hi khul gya ta Naya kya bacha Bhai.

This will leave a sour-taste on many potential buyers and it's high time KTM-Bajaj gets down to the root of the issue helps the distressed customer and proactively ensure SoPs are maintained in the respective service centers.

    One day or the other this should happen with KTM and sad part ki brother ended up with a faulty bike and that too brand new. 390 adventure had tank crack issues and KTM replaced them in warranty, but sad part is one bike catched fire and he escaped from death with severe injuries. This is going to happen any day for sure. KTM means no quality.

    I also had engine blast for my duke250 after 3 year of purchase, where engine damage guarantee lasts 24 months so I changed entire engine parts with own money. I know it’s sad happening to new bike but I think changing engine is good option or fight for new bike.

      Bajaj mein problem nhi ayegi and whatever you do just buy the bike from a big dealer.
      Yes KTM is mfd by Bajaj but its a garbage product from the very first day. Overheating, Engine failure, Brake failure, Fuel pump failures...90% of the people don't even know that their rear shockers are already leaked in first 2yrs only because its hidden.

      @@Vk_vlogs48 it is for Dominar 400. also known among the community as Engine head issue. Or starts as tappet sound.
      Almost within 15k kms the issue will start and you’ll need a head replacement. If you are first owner and it is under warranty, they’ll charge you for labor which will be around 4k.
      But if it is not under warranty, it can go up to Rs25,000
      Happened to my Dominar 2020 model

      @@pistonblazeautomotive7889 the bigwing showroom near me has gone miles to help one of the highness owner when he had issues with his bike.. ideally that's how things should be.. ye to ch*tiyapa hai .. pehle bike kharidoo fir use dealer ko becho jo ke aadha daam bhi nai dega because engine me issue hai.. fir nayi bike lo.. and who knows that agent will be part of their team and same bike will be sold to someone else.. aand these guys will make whole lot of money..

    I am biker too and I feel so bad for this incident. I am Glad you are safe….you should find a lawyer and send them notice and then see the magic…they will beg you to take another bike and do settlement.
    I am leaving 1star review on their google review.
    Dont Give up and make sure you/we teach them lesson so they think 100 times before doing something like this.

    That's why on 2018 I choosed RR310 instead of 390... KTM's engine lasts Max to max 50k kms.... After that it's useless... But which happened with u, it is atleast not expected from KTM for a brand new bike...as a bike lover I can feel ur mind 🙏🏼

      @@yousufmusthaneer9738 engine is refined but I've seen many getting trouble in engine...when the bike starts getting old it causes many issues in engine which isn't good...if we compare it with Japanese engines like Yamaha,Honda, Kawasaki etc it's really bad
