No Prince history is complete without Pepe Willie's mentorship. I am so glad that I got a chance to hear some 94 East 70s recordings featuring Prince on guitar.
The interviews, especially with people like Pepe, Levi, and Miko are always fascinating and I always find them engaging. There are too many Black voices that aren't being heard from his past as if that part of his life never existed.
That last story about Prince going back into the studio to fix something, I bet he just told him that and really went back to make another song (or two!) by himself lol
