Gorgeous cards, Therese! Love the colour choices for both cards. Lovely to see a change from the usual colouring to muted colours and the black and white. I love your b&w choice! Loving this new set! :)
GORGEOUS cards, Therese! I love how you played with these new vases...WOW! The B&W card is my fave, but I do love them both ~ Thank you so much for sharing so many tips with us...they're going on my wishlist right now :) xx
Once again you knocked it out of the ball park!! I love the sympathy card the best and I like those colors the best, But that was a hard decision. I also love the mauve colors and what you did with that card. I would never have thought to use the vase stencils in that way to get the water marks. Thank you so much Therese :)
The stencils certainly made masking the water easy but you could also do it with regular 'cut out' masks too. thanks so much for your lovely visit here today Elizabeth!
This is a beautiful set, Therese. Thank you for the video. I loved both cards, but if l had to choose one, it would be the second card - l particularly loved how you embossed the vase. 💕
Simply beautiful! Therese, you make the most beautiful cards and showcase amazing ways to use Altenew products ... thank you so much for the video and ideas. Love both cards you shared. My color preference was the black & white choice (versus the mauve one) because the contrast was perfect. I'm sure the mauve color will go nicely with other ideas you may have. Great idea with embossing an image onto the vase to give it a sort of elegance! The Versatile Vases 2 and Sparkled bundles are on my wish list!! Thank you for the inspiration and taking time to share with us fellow cardmakers ... truly appreciate your creativity and ideas!
Well, I’ve watched this a number of times trying to get the vase water technique down! I love these vases and huge flower bouquets, so I’m off to start making a bunch.....I have lots of die cut flowers sitting around not knowing what to do with them, and this looks like just the technique I’m looking for! You are such a genius figuring this stuff out!❤️❤️
Gorgeous cards, both of them. I love how you created water in the first vase. And I think on the second card I would have gone with the mauve, though the black & white is stunning as well.
I have the 1st vase set and the beautiful day stamps and the pale mauve ink. Guess I now have a sample of some sympathy cards I need to make. Thank you for showing me how to do this lovely card. BTW, I like the mauve better. oh, and I'm just blown away by the way you did the vase!!!!
Yes, I had a few questions when I made my other card so I thought it was easier to 'explain' it in a video lol. Hope you enjoy making your floral vases Maxine!
OMG. The first flowers were gorgeous but I was so excited I forgot you were going to make two. The second one is a perfect sympathy card. Have a great day from Canada.
I love the 'Wedgewood' vase and how you did the water in the clear one. Of the two flowers, I prefer the black and white but I would have used a smaller bloom. I love your videos, they brighten my frosty mornings here in Scotland.
Yay! Thanks so much Pauline, it's hard to imagine frosty while we are in the middle of Summer lol. ps I do have a problem with 'large' blooms they are definitley my go to at the moment lol.
Lovely as can be! I may (have to) get these vases when I see how you’ve put them to such perfect use. The vase w/flower on it has me swooning. TYFSharing, Therese! 💌
I think I would have liked the mauve better if I hadn't stamped the flower in 'black' and used a few shades of mauve instead... maybe I'll try that next time lol. thanks so much Tina!
Hey Gorgeous!! I absolutely love the blue/purple colour combination. Stunning cards Therese! PS, I keep forgetting to ask where you got your Misti magnet holders?
I had so many questions about them I have them linked in the post. I got them here in Australia, but I have been told they are on Amazon too.... bit.ly/2L6vB4w
Sorry, that must be so frustrating for you to spend the time linking the products and then get asked the question anyway. 😳 I'll pay better attention next time 😉
@@lorie1508 It's no problem Lori, I understand that many people (including myself) sometimes don't even realise that there is a description with links below or how to use them. It takes me years to work out something that a teen would have sorted in seconds lol.
I love the blues and purples, and the trick for using the stencils! That makes it easy! Such beautiful cards! TFS
Thanks so much Brenda!
Gorgeous! Those masking stencils are brilliant. So glad everyone talked you into recreating this card.
Thanks so much Lisa!
I love how you created the vase using the beautiful day stamp, and the shading was lovely. Both cards are fabulous..
It's been a while since I used this stamp and it was always one of my faves. Thank you Wendy!
Stunning card. I love the black and white. That vase is gorgeous!

Beautiful cards. Love your style. I like the mauve bit the black and white is classy.
As my husband would say, why don't you just make 'one of each'... he doesn't get it lol.
Both beautiful cards. Thanks for the tips on creating water in the vases too!
Glad you like them!
Both cards are so beautiful. I vote the black and white, but I’m sure the other will be equally as stunning.
It's always such big decisions at the time lol. Thanks for your help Maria!
I agree with you. The black flower was the perfect choice for the sympathy card. Would love to see the mauve flower on a card too. Blessings to you!

Those are both amazing cards. I definitely like the black-and-white better than the mauve.
Phew... I was hoping that was the better one, but this really was a 'big' decision.... at the time lol.
Love both cards, like the black leaves better. Beautiful day stamp set is lovely,I have the set. Must look out for the case set.

I agree it's such a beautiful flower Janet and I haven't stamped it in an age so it was nice to use it again.
I like the black and white.
Yay! thank you Lorraine!
I can't choose . Both cards are so beautiful .
Thanks so very much!

Yay! Hope you have fun with it Marilyn. If you have the stencil it is much quicker but you can certainly get the same look by creating your own masks.
Very beautiful and unique!
Thank you! 😊
I’m so glad you showed how you got the water ring in the vase. So simple and it’s so pretty.
Thank you! 😊
I love your videos, they are very inspiring. I liked them both.
Thank you so much Christine!
Gorgeous cards, both of them. I love how you created water in the first vase. And I think on the second card I would have gone with the mauve, though the black & white is stunning as well.
So happy that you liked these cards Jennifer, my husband always tells me to make 'both' versions when I can't make up my mind lol.
They are both beautiful!!
Thank you Brenda!
I think the black I'd ideal for the sympathy card, but I live the mauve colour too! Must get hold of these vase stamps and stencils!
The vases really work perfectly with ALL the Altenew flowers (and I have a few lol).
@@lostinpaper just a few😉
@@mintea2779 mmmmm I think you got me there.... have you seen my craft room tour? and I have a few more since then lol.

You chose correctly. The black leaves looked the best. Maybe with a light pink vase it would've looked ok.
Yes, the pink on the vase would look wonderful, I agree!
Gorgeous ♥️
Thank you Kim! 😊
OMG. The first flowers were gorgeous but I was so excited I forgot you were going to make two. The second one is a perfect sympathy card. Have a great day from Canada.

I like the solid vase better than the water filled -- and black leaf more than mauve!
Yes, these dies make for a wonderful 'solid' vase and the best thing is that they come in 2 sizes of each shape! Thanks so much Lee!
Lovely as can be! I may (have to) get these vases when I see how you’ve put them to such perfect use. The vase w/flower on it has me swooning. TYFSharing, Therese! 💌
Glad to hear that you liked them Kathy!
As always I appreciate you voicing your thought process. Lovely cards, I did prefer the mauve, I thought the black leaves were a little harsh

That was like t h e smartest trick in a long time! Thanks for sharing. (Ps I would have gone with the mauve)
