Billie Chiper: Probably my favorite of this set, she could trick others with her beauty and transform her skirt into any crazy contraption she wants. Her hair could also be hiding a little portal to her home dimension.
Princess Spinel: After experiencing major joy and grief in her life, Steven probably helped her find a balance in life and she eventually managed to climb the ranks as a princess. She may use her kooky powers to cheer others.
Bowselene: She may seem sweet at first, but she can still pack a punch and shoot flamethrowers at own opponents. Although, she'd probably invite other princesses to her castle rather than steal them, unless maybe she steals princes or plumbers(?).
Princess Scarlet: She'll be queen undisputed, respected, and saluted. Her teeth and ambitions are bared. Be prepared!

I really REALLY loved Princess Bowser. I also am plus sized and have wild red hair, and it was really uplifting to see someone drawn that way and called beautiful🥰

I'm on disability for several mental illnesses, and I've bought many self-care colouring/activity books over the years that came with varying degrees of enjoyment. It's Okay to Cry arrived today, and I'm extremely pleased with it! I find all 25 drawings to be relatable in one way or another, and it exercises my imagination in the best possible way. It's so healthy. I would love to eventually see a part 2! Thanks very much for the release of this book, Mei! 💜🤗
Princess Scarlett is my favorite villain princess so far! The black gloves matches with the initial claws of Scar and it makes her look more powerful and dominating! She looks like a beautiful African princess and I live for the representation 🤎🤎🤎 I truly love this series!
I like to think that these Princesses use to be angry and evil people but they unexpectively meet, then talk about their many evil doings and related to each other.....they become good friends and help each other out, when needed. It would be cute!

They’re all lovely, but the Scar princess was my favorite. The colors were so beautiful and striking, her hair looks so pretty and I love the fur trim accent on the dress. Also really like the pose.

Princess Cipher is definitely still a villain. Maybe someone who everyone thinks is good because shes… a princess… but suddenly- NOPE she’s evil and proud of it. And yes, her voice still has that echoey-ish effect that og Bill has (if you’ve heard bill you know what I mean I hope)
Princess Spinel is the youngest- or adopted- and she does have a very bubbly personality but often feels left out- because she is the youngest.
Princess ‘Bowser?’ Is a Princess that looks like a kind person but underneath that sweet facade is RAGE. But she still loves her son/daughter (idk if bowser jr. would be a Princess now too or not)
Princess ‘Scar’ is a beautiful Princess but is still overlooked by the kingdom and her brother/sister (again, would mufasa be a Princess too?) So yes she is angry and is slowly loosing her mind over how she’s been treated.
I bet when you were doing the concept sketch for the princess Bowser, you avoided googling Bowsette so you can get an original design for her then doing something that resembles a well-known meme.
The last two ate my faves. I love that your Bowser princess was full figured & the Scar princess is just amazing!! So pretty & powerful. She won't need a prince to come rescue her.

Reimaginigs are my favorites! This one was great fun. Bowserina had the best dress, but Scar was the most striking, beautiful princess. Changing the gloves to black was the right choice.

I know I have said this many times before, but I LOVE how you translate the characters' distinctive features into their reimagined selves. If I had seen these drawings without any context, I believe that I would have been able to recognize the original character.
I loved all four of the redesigns, but I admit that Princess Scar was my favorite. It's hilarious cause Scar wanted to be the Lion King, but now he's a pretty human princess.

Amazing!! Princess Cypher would be a chaos agent. Not evil but mischievous. Love how elegant Lady Scar looks. Nice color scheme for Princess Bowsy. For Spinel, although the design is amazing, I would love to see her with the scythe
These were incredible. I really love it when you draw other characters like villains into Disney princesses because it always add a unique take on some classic villains and gives a new take on them. I really loved all these designs since they managed to reflect their character perfectly. I especially loved Scar’s princess design the most, since it gave him more flare and finesse as a beautiful princess. These were very beautiful I can’t wait to see more Disney princesse themed videos. Great job as always Mei and I can’t wait to see what you draw next.
Gosh... I don't know who my favorite is this time. They're all amazing! I like the Bill Cipher one. She looks elegant and kind, but I'm sure that's just a facade. The Spinel one looks super friendly too. This isn't out of character because she was originally super friendly and bubbly, and after the events of the movie, wait, I shouldn't spoil it. The Bowser one also looks very welcoming, and this is a MUCH better design for a Bowser princess than... Bowsette... Ugh... Anyway, and the Scar one looks elegant and confident without looking evil. I really like them all!
I really love Bill Cipher as a princess, I really love her design. She looks really cool! :D I would want her to be good not bad, it could be an alternate universe to Gravity Falls where people think she's evil when her twin brother is the evil one. She befriends Dipper and Mabel and try to stop her twin brother while trying to earn the people's trust, so they won't think she's evil anymore.

The rule is that queens can be evil but princesses can't, so at most these re-imagined characters would be morally gray, for example Princess Dipper could strike a deal with Princess Billia to do something a bit shady.
I like Bill's design very pretty and love the fire. Spinel is adorable I love her design and colors, she could be friends with Pinkie Pie. I like that you did Bowser in your style instead of making him similar to princess Bowsette. Lion King is my most favorite Disney movie, Scar looks gorgeous I love her hair style. She could have dressed in a african princess style dress, but I still love it. She is my favorite. 😍❤❤❤👏👏👏

I love watching Mei draw and color. I’d love to see a marker tutorial for coloring and lighting.
The artwork is top tier as always Mei Yu. Didn't really have a favorite among these four. They seemed pretty much equal to me. I am curious about two specific things though.
Firstly when you turned Bill Cipher into a princess I noticed you used the hair to cover up the second eye in order to achieve the illusion of the single eye Bill Cipher has. What I'm curious about is why you decided to take this route instead of making the princess version of Bill Cipher a cyclops. One specific character from the cartoon Futurama named Leela Turanga is a female cyclops. You could have gone down this route instead being more true to Bill Cipher only having one eye. Don't misunderstand Mei. Your choice was inventive I just feel it implies that princess form of Bill Cipher has two eyes instead of one even if the other eye is concealed. Why hide his lack of two eyes as a female if as I pointed out it's proven to be possible to have a one eyed female as well? Perhaps you might not be familiar with Futurama or Leela.
Secondly I found your version of Bowser as a princess to be more realistic and true than Bowsette or Koopa-hime which is a fan-made, moe anthropomorphized and gender-swapped version of the Mario franchise character Bowser,in which he is transformed to resemble the character Princess Peach using a power-up. Look forward to your next challenge Mei Yu.

Spinell was so cool to see as a princess. I think seeing each of the Diamonds from Steven Universe could be really cool! Blue, Yellow, Pink and White 😍
I haven't watched these vids for a while, before you made the art books, and even though I don't need em, it makes me smile knowing how much you just want to spread creativity!!
Wow, these designs are absolutely fabulous. I have to say Scar and Bowser were my favorites in terms of you turning the villains into princesses. Will you be releasing another Pop Culture reimagined book? Because I love coloring your designs, and so does my sister. For whom you should draw next as princesses, I suggest Dr. Facilier, Beetlejuice, Ace D. Copular, and Orochimaru.
As for what to draw next, I'd like to request....
Disney princesses as vampires
Video game female characters as horror monsters (Vampire, Frankenstein, werewolf, etc.) or Sailor Guardians
Twisted Wonderland characters (in honor of the NA localization of Disney's Twisted Wonderland)
Disney movies as bands (boy band, rock band, metal band, etc.)
Characters cosplaying as each other as a nod to the voice actor they share (e.g. Gingerbrave as Finn the Human and vice versa to reference Jeremy Shada, Verosika Mayday as Sailor Mars and vice versa for Cristina Vee, and Boruto as Sailor Jupiter and vice versa for Amanda C. Miller)
I liked Scar the best. The black gloves really upgraded it!

And honestly, you have got your entire formula and style down to a T. I love Peridot's redemption arc and her relationship with Lapis. They are so cute together. I feel like Scars dress should have been green. As in Disney movies green is evil and it's really prominent around Scar. I really liked the blind coloring you did. That was pretty funny.
Some names that might be good for the Bowser and Scar princesses could be Princess Barbara and Princess Scarlett. Also, I loved all the Princess, they were great! (:

Princess Scar was just absolutely beautiful. I loved how she was strong looking, but not buff.
I do appreciate that you do more different body types, but they still tend to fall into "traditional slender and attractive, with boobs" or "curvy, also with boobs". A lot of people don't really fit with either, and that's why I love that a lot of the designs in popular media has addressed this, since I was a kid. I do wish that you'd experiment more with different body types like androgenous, small chest with hips, average (not slender but not plus sized either), strong, plus size and not toned. I understand that you cannot make every body type in the world, and some will always be left out, but I just feel like a few more couldn't hurt.
I absolutely love the new coloring book! I like to color at night, but prefer to use my iPad at night since there’s less light around. Have you ever considered doing a digital version of them? I think my favorite princess is bowser, the dress is so striking!

I really love what you did with these characters, especially Bill Cipher and Scar. And you were right to add black to Scar's gloves.
But here's a challenge for you... Turning the TRANSFORMERS (original Hasbro versions) into human princes. You can do one part for the Autobots, and another for the Decepticons.
