Hi! I've followed your tutorial but I only used 1 strand instead of 2 with a 5mm hook.... now im stuck at row 20 of the cone, where it is nearly impossible to fit my hook through. Can i do the DC in just the back loop?

To make the ice cream smaller by using smaller yarn such as size 4 ply and change the crochet hook to 2.5 mm. and follow the same pattern. After that, the ice cream will small to the size of the crochet hook and yarn. :D
