Well at least we got some gold with the highbanker and it's always fun getting out to the krik, warm weather will be here before we know it! Cobbles! 🍻⚒️
I love your channel. I am here in Lacrosse Wisconsin and have panned out a few scoops in the creeks around here. I think I did pretty well. If I start prospecting I will have you to thank. Many thanks for the joy you spread to us all!
Hello Jason. Have you ever wrapped your shovel in Fiberweld from JB Weld? I wrap the shovel from the top of the handle all the way down to the flat part of the shovel. It’s important to cover where the handle meets the metal to cover the most frequent break point. I have had the same shovel almost a decade and it is 100 times stronger than before. It’s a great tip for those who constantly break their mining tools. Hope Rex thawed out ok!
Heck Yeah, that two man operation in the right place at the right time would be stupendous. In the Re-frozen north, well it looked like enough work to keep the operators warm, too bad the frozen air and water made for a tough clean up. Catch ya next time!
I'll guess the next run will be more productive. Starting a fire, roasting sluices and careful melt release of the mat contents, and the whole contraption frozen together thing sure cut in to your time to just grind. Lot's of fun though!.@@FlourgoldWizards
I feel for ya man... Going through the same thing up here, it gets warm enough to be a teaser then the temperature drops like a rock! Luckily we are on the downside of it though, won't be long!
I tried your idea, and it works pretty good. I made an improvement on the highbanker. I place the sluice box right in the creek, so I have better flow control. I then rotate the highbanker 90 degrees, so the larger rocks goes over the side of the sluice into the creek. The water in the bucket is now used to wash rocks instead.
Look out Jason!! I saw sasquatch stomping up through the Ice!!😂 Rex has a nice coat, but I bet he wishes he had a couple nice pairs of swampers. I remember when I could be out in the cold and fart around like that. Now days, my hands start burning almost instantly in that kind of weather. You and Rex are still tough guys! Oh, and Ryan too. Keep diggin Bud👌
If you added a flapper ball stopper , from a toilet, inside the bucket and cut a small notch in the rim of the bucket so you can wedge the chain from stopper to hold it open. You would be able to turn the water on and off, giving you more time to fill it and shovel
I paused at 12:00 min - Was just thinking, an old metal coffee can to heat up some water, pour on everything to unfreeze everything, would be real helpful ( and dip your hands in) I like to fill old plastic bottles with hot water and stick them in my pockets. Great for outside wet work - cheers!
Great way to wake up when there's a new flour gold wizards video out! Wish I could handle the cold like that and get out year round. Lioks like yall had another great outing
NICE a rock that won't go away! Slab it Slab it! lol Have you considered putting a valve on the bottom of the bucket? You could get a couple buckets of material and when you are ready turn the water on then run the buckets (if you are by yourself). Might be more efficient?

Awesome show guys! That highbanker seems to work well indeed. Would like to pan the tailings to see if starting and stopping the water flow flushes gold from the mat, if you were by yourself. Well despite all the ice, still a great show! Keep up the great work on my favorite channel!!👍⛏💰💰🍺🐾🍀🍀🐾🍻✔🇺🇸
You really need to carry a self-igniting propane torch. It’s a great way to knock the cold off the hands super quick and would make fast work with thawing out that sluice. Cobbles

Oh Wow! 1 degree and bucket-feeding water Holy cow. I want to make another suggestion, Amazon! 12vdc sump pump drill some 1-inch holes around the perimeter of the lower part of a 5 gal.bucket add some window screen to the inside of the bucket and drop the pump in then connect to a small 12vdc rechargeable battery and a small collapsible solar panel. And you might want to wait until it's at least a balmy 3 degrees.
Days like that were made for running concentrated materials in the shop! I love seeing the gold in the pan, but days like that were made for finishing!
Have you ever considered adding a siphon hose to the top edge of a bucket with a lid and water valve on the bottom edge and a bunghole cap on the lid? This would allow you to shut off the water and fill the bucket and hose, then put the screw on the cap to seal the bucket effectively creating a siphon on the hose when the valve is opened as long as the hose is dropped in the water, the vacuum created should bring water up the hose and into the bucket. A pumpless non-mechanical water source for your high banker. Just an Idea I thought you might not have considered. Sure would beat hand-loading buckets of water over and over, and might even be made to work with your sluice box water sheet attachment. If you try it give me a shout, I'd be interested in if it works.

Nice way to work around extent of the rule it’s too bad they gotta do that to a guy but I understand it’s just the way it is anyway I hope you enjoyed your day sluicing looking forward to that warmer weather. I was wishing that puddle was just a little bigger Found a couple little fly poops and that was about it when I was done I was hot and wishing I had a little fridge of wonder of my own.😂😅💪
Great fun with this video. Don't know how you can stay out in that cold so long. To keep the high banker from freezing have you considered putting a pot of water over the fire and run that through the sluice periodically and right before cleanup? Also, warm up some water to use for panning. Anyway, love the videos.

Nice way to work around extent of the rule it’s too bad they gotta do that to a guy but I understand it’s just the way it is anyway I hope you enjoyed your day sluicing looking forward to that warmer weather.
Past couple weeks I’ve been down in Arizona. I got a chance to do a little bit of panning. I found a puddle in a nice piece of bedrock it only lasted for two pans, but it was fun. I was wishing that puddle was just a little bigger Found a couple little fly poops and that was about it when I was done I was hot and wishing I had a little fridge of wonder of my own.😂😅💪
The friJ is always welcome at the end of any day ! 😃🍻✅
Pupper needs some ice booties! Looks cold but fun!

That was the worst part ! 🍻🥶🤣🤣🤣

Kasmash !!!! 🥶🤣🍻
I thought I had cold weather hands...but man I think you topped me. Soaking them in water in 1f is impressive! That was some dedication.
The ice water around here is notoriously warm! 🤣✅🍻
Great fun with this video. Don't know how you can stay out in that cold so long. To keep the high banker from freezing have you considered putting a pot of water over the fire and run that through the sluice periodically and right before cleanup? Also, warm up some water to use for panning. Anyway, love the videos.
The warm water idea is an excellent afterthought ✅😃
I was there 10 days ago ran three buckets thru my sluces and got 152 spects most of them micros
Nice !!
Nice job picking out Rex’s coat, Mrs Wizard 😁
