Nichol, these felt projects have been so amazing! I think this is a great way for us paper crafters to cross over into cross stitch projects. With that in mind, would you consider doing a “dumb down” version? Could you show a blanket stitch, French knot, and lazy daisy up close and slowed down? It’s been decades since I cross stitched with my grandma in the 1980’s, so I don’t remember much and some of what I thought I remembered is wrong. (Like I thought you went around the needle 3 times for a French knot, but maybe I’m remembering her teaching me to crochet). Thank you for the awesome inspiration, your projects are beautiful!
Absolutely love these snow globes! Love the colours you have put together! I can’t wait for my kit to come. Thank you again for theses wonderful videos, I could watch you all day doing these hand made projects 🩷
I’m really enjoying your felt projects! I used to do a lot of felt embroidery in the late 60’s and through the 70’s. You have sparked my heart to pick it up and do some hoop scenes for gifts. I’m 70 now and my eyes can’t see to do cross stitch any longer. I think your pieces are just adorable.
Merry Christmas♥️
I've always avoided watching the stitching videos. I thought they would be boring, BUT boy, was I wrong. Last night, I watched you stitch the reindeer ornament, and now I'm hooked! I want to start making these felt ornaments. They are adorable! You do everything soooo well. I love watching your videos. ❤
Thank you so much!
Loved all your felt videos so much. So stunning and loved how you used te stitching dies on a home decor project. So awesome and creative. Fun to see it used in a different way. You truly bring so much inspiration. Thanks for sharing your awesomeness and creativity💗🥰
Love, love, love. So gorgeous ❤
Very pretty. Amazing felt projects.
❤ Beautiful work! I had no idea about this felt craft being electronically cut. I must get oriented with it. You have given me another crafting rabbit hole to explore. Thank you for your brilliant inspiration. 😊
This is so beautiful! I ended up preordering the snow globe today since I was afraid it wouldn’t be available later. I love the ❤️❤️❤️Nichol. It’s so you!
Nichol, you know I am 100% with you on the snow globes. I just love how all of your creations! Thanks so much for sharing your design process and love how you incorporated them into an embroidery hoop. Amazing as always❤️!
You are a gem! ✨
Another felt video!! 🩷🩷🩷
Absolutely love these videos and would love to see a more detailed video about die cutting and all there is to know! You are just so talented!! Thank you! 🤍💚🩷❤️
Such fun and sweet additions to your holiday line up! I want to try this so badly but my die cutting machine is in storage! Sheesh!!!🙋🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I have loved all of your felt projects this weekend. Everything has been so cute.
Love your felt video look forward to seeing more ❤
Thank you so much for doing these videos. I've purchased from Poshta Designs before, but I never used any of the products because there weren't any TH-cam videos. I would love it if you did a live video making some of the ornaments or even the cute pumpkin. Also, can you do some slower, more detailed videos on some of the different stitches? Again, Nicole, thank you so much for putting in the time to create this content.
Really cute projects!
I love this snow globe scene.
Such beautiful projects Nichol! Thank you so much!
So adorable!! I’ve ordered this kit and can’t wait for it to arrive!!❤
Wonderful projects as always great inspiration for the holiday season ❤
adorable! tfs
Absolutely love your felt projects! I just recently discovered your videos of these. I never considered the idea of being able to cut felt with my metal cutting dies. Opens a whole new world of possibilities! ❤️ So my QUESTION is, are you using a particular type of felt to do this with? I apologize if you covered this in your video and I missed it. Thanks so much for all your inspiration! ❤️
I love your video. It helps a lot to see how you do the ornaments …
I missed out on this set! Heartbroken. I've got to sign up for their newsletter.
She sent out a newsletter email yesterday where they are taking pre-orders for the kit.
What a great video! Thank you for your very detailed tutorial :)
Love this! I want to try this but need to start with something small…lol.
Always love watching your paper crafting and your stitching videos. So much inspiration.I made the Ellen Hudson bear for Valentines Day years ago after watching your instructions. I should get that one back out. My question has to do with my die cutting machine (a Cuttlebug). Its fine for most dies but I have had problems with intricate dies and with some of the stitching dies. The holes and other details don’t get cut all the way through (like on the recent cross stitch dies from Lawn Fawn). I just “unwarped” the plates with the boiling water so am hoping that may help but I was wondering if you had any tips? Thanks!
Nichol, do you think you could make felt ornaments out of the SSS gnome dies?
These are fabulous Nichol. Any idea if you can buy these dies for felt stitching in Australia. It seems to be purely an American craft.
All of these felt projects have been beautiful! I’d love to do one of these kits next year since everything is sold out now. Do you know when they are released each year so newbies like me can join in next year?
Pre-orders are being taken prior to the restock of the kit. I would suggest signing up for her email newsletter as that is where you can get the latest information. (Scroll to the bottom of the home page of the website to sign up. She always lets you know about releases and restocks.
Watching replay.. I love to make them and used to embroidery long time ago. So creative and cute.. just love how you make them. Absolutely cute!!! Thank you sharing! 🫶🏼☺️🤩
Hi, Nichol, what kind of batting do you use when stuffing ornaments or bowl fillers? Thank you!
Polyester Fiberfill from WalMart
I really really want to start this hobby along side my papercrafting but I can't find any stitched dies here in the UK, CC has some but they are for gluing the pieces together, If anyone is in the UK and knows of an online shop I would be soooooo grateful, I often make little carrots and pumpkins which i cut out my self but I really want to use the proper dies. Nichol you inspire me so much ❣
How many threads are you using ? How can you make the back of the ornament plain (just stitch the outer edge in blue ) but snow globe bottom and snow holes are still there.
I am using three threads. I am not sure I understand the question but I think you can use just the globe without the snow.
@@NicholSpohrLLC Thanks. I was trying to have snow, bottom of globe and a tree on front with blue sky/globe and back plain. If you stitch the Snow with floss and a color (red) on bottom of globe then the white and red floss from the front shows on the back (tryin to keep just blue on back to keep it one sided. Also trying to figure out how to stitch bottoms together since using red bottom and white snow on front only. Blue makes front and back attach at top but not at bottom. Sorry hard to explain.. Thinking a globe die with just outer holes and not the snow and bottom globe piece would allow a one sided ornament. I wish Poshta had included a scrap of black for the snowman hat..
So cute, but already sold out 😂 Where do you get your snowflake sequins from please
There is a preorder for homespun holiday, but it ends tomorrow. I just checked the website, if you are interested.
I think there may be some snowflake sequins in the kit. I have found them at the 3 big box stores in their Xmas crafts display. There are always several different ones at Hobby Lobby.
You can pre-order the kit now to ensure you receive one when she restocks.
How would you cut out a back for a die that doesn't include a backer. I'm working on the autumn leaves dies and want to stuff but there is no backer and I don't want the holes to show on the back. Love your projects!
I don't know. I guess you would have to hand cut them.
