My favorite thing to do is Art Journals. However, along this journey I recently discovered many items from work that went to the landfill that should not. It is our responsibility to do something with these items. So I will be journaling and upcycling here. I hope you join me and play along. Remember there are different thickness of vinyl too. I just happened to have the right thinkness.

I have a brand new Big Shot and I am brand new to all of this. So frustrating nothing would work. I will head over to Home Depot in the morning and try it out!
Just remember there are all different widths of it.
This is a great suggestion! I have a Big Shot and I'm almost ready to throw in the towel and get a Platinum 6, even though my Big Shot works great for cutting. I love 3-D embossing folders and I will certainly give your trick and try. Thanks again for the great video!
I bought a cricket cuddle bug when it first came out so that was years and years ago have always used. It had no problems until I get the three day embossing folder and I’ve used one before that worked but this one was from a different company and it will not go through so I will try the floor sample. Thank you.

I have just recently purchased the Big Shot PLUS (I used to have a regular Big Shot, but it was stolen along with almost all of my craft supplies, thousands of $$$ worth,in August 2021, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to start over again or not), and I can remember having this problem with some embossing folders.

Can you please give me an idea of what the thickness is of the flooring sample which you used?? Because they can vary widely!!

I just added two photos to my Facebook group and page. I did my best to show you the difference in the depths. It is of course a little thinner than the sizzix plates. I hope that helps.
