It is just spectacular around there summer or winter. I keep telling everyone if there is a snow line to be skied then our spicey Master Mountain Touring Powder Skiing Extrodinaire Mr. James WILL find it and slay it. Props to the Family and a special props to the little? sis making it to the Lake. Powder on campers only a few more months till ski season!!!!!! Mucho appreciado my friend!

Wow, you did it! Was up there July 1 a few years and a couple of guys were doing the same thing. I think they traversed around the other side of the bowl to get a few in. I imagine the camp area was pretty full if it was a weekend.

Hey the sad fact about watching this is that there is still more snow there than there is in Oz at the moment. We have had about 20 cm of natural snow this season so far 😢😢.
If it wasn't for snow making we wouldn't be skiing at all.

The trail reports are still saying waist deep snow on a lot of the hikes here in Ab, it's been a weird spring/summer. There's probably some great skiing to be had, but I'll stick to mountain biking :P
For the slow start it's shocking how long the snow is taking to melt!
Fun fact: You can ski down in late August or September if you go up Wedge Mountain and ski down the wide couloir to the right of the arête.
