I have said it before and still say it, for most of the people on stage at this tribute it was their biggest concert ever, and they were no scrubs not by a mile. And you can see the audience doesn't even care if they fail a little on stage, it's a true testament to how Freddie and Queen were great

To be fair to axl since the GnR reunion in 2015 he's been very good with his time keeping. I imagine there's an agreement with slash and duff in order for this to happen. There's hardly been any repeats from the 90's
I have always figured Axl started on SSRIs around that time. Just before the reunion happened his personality changed completely and he put on a ton of weight.
I remember watching this on TV in 1992. I was 13 years old, I became a Guns n' Roses fan after watching the video for You Could be Mine but I had never seen them live. When Axl appeared on stage, the way he ran on stage...I was shocked but in a positive way !
Here in Portugal he threatened to go away during the first song because people were throwing some plastic water bottles to the stage... and I kind thought he was right... but he didn't go and it was a hel of a concert!
I think every one needs to remember that this was a tribute to Freddie, Freddie is no longer here no one is going to sound like him I think Axl was perfect for rock n roll part of the part of the song and Elton perfect for the slower part and that it came together good ♥️
