This has been one of my top 3 songs since i was 13 years old, circa '92. "your voice is dead, and old, and always empty...". mom wasn't sure what to think when i started putting posters of guys with makeup on my wall. but to their music (my "Dark Trilogy" will always be "Seventeen Seconds", "Faith", and "Pornography"). This song, in its crushing way, gave me faith.

Quite dry snare and hihat, opposite to the original, nevertheless equally amazing... Faith is a huge monument regardless the angle we stare at it...

awful awful drums...no depth, reverb ...just flat and ruins this recording imo. This has been a problem with The Cure since 1996. Im not blaming Cooper as its Smith who decides how things should sound, but his playing style is also lacking...too much emphasis on the 1st and 3rd beats of the high hat instead of equal on all 4 beats(sorry im being pedantic now)
