Nepal is famous for it's trekking. When we were hiking through Langtang National Park, we wondered if there could be a more beautiful area on earth.
But did you know that Nepal had fire Twirlers or rhinos that walked through the streets? Did you know that you could feed and bathe elephants? We were in the outskirts of Chitwan National Park for an action packed few days recently and we saw many unexpected surprises.
This is the Nepal they don't show you!
After we ate our breakfast, we left our hotel for a lodge where you can feed an elephant! But it's not behind a cage or wall. The elephants are in special areas where they just walk right up to you.
Nepal has so much more to offer than you typically see. We had bucket list experiences with the beautiful elephants. The safari exceeded our expectations. Thank you for watching this video. This is WITY TRAVELS. What could possibly be next?

Great idea for a video, I've seen a few Nepal vlogs but they've pretty much all been hiking in the mountains or Kathmandu. Nice to see what else is out there! Decent room, it's always good to get a good night's kip before heading out on safari. Marvellous to see an elephant chilling out like that, very relaxing and seemed to like the attention. Glad no crocs turned up while you were in the water! Loved the dancing and seeing everyone letting their hair down after such a busy day. You know you're on a proper safari when your in one of those jeeps and you have to cross a shallow river - tick it off your list! Looking forward to finding out where that final location is - Nepal has been awesome!
Hiking is the main goal of most people when they visit Nepal. We are really happy we had the flexibility to stay longer than most. We could tell the elephants were treated kindly and were with people they were really comfortable with. They wouldn't let just anyone lead them to be fed and bathed. If they didn't want it, it would not happen! We love the performances with the traditional dancing and music. You're right about the jeeps through shallow water. That is when things get REAL! That first girl you got to fed was so sweet 😍 I don't think you truly realise how big they are until you're feeding them 🥲 I remember when I was in highschool we went on a field trip to an elephant rescue sanctuary and got to feed the elephants up close too - the elephant decided to put her trunk all over my face and it's an experience I'll never forget 🥲 I can't believe you guys got to bathe with them, that is an absolute dream experience 🫶
You really don't realise how big they are! It's startling. What an incredible and special memory you have! We achieved our dreams that day! ❤️❤️

Are the wild rhinos at risk in terms of poaching in Nepal? The situation in SA is so bad with all the poaching 🙃 In SA, the rhinos' locations are largely hidden and most good SA citizens will keep the location of a rhino hidden if they happen to spot one in one of our national parks 🥲 I'm so glad you guys got to see a rhino after all 🙏🙏
We don't think the rhinos are in danger of poaching, but like in SA you have to go with a guide who is going to make sure the rhinos are as safe as possible. And they had a few army stations to be on the look out. Thanks! We love rhinos!
