What I did when I put my Vanda’s in the basket. I drilled a hole in the center of a bottom. It has to be the same size as the bamboo stick and stick it in. Once it’s arranged the way you want it tie it up and you’re ready.
Richard Lewis That is a wonderful idea, thank you! Since then, my orchid doesn't needs anymore stabilisation cuz is already well attached to the basket :)
It looks lovely in a basket! I have seen Vanda two tone lavender for some time but, i can't decide whether to buy it or not because i'm not sure about it. I dont have a lot of space for more Vandas so if i do buy it, its got to be one i really like. Would you suggest it?
Very nice! what about the other vanda, I grow my in a vase, of course not very well, I still have not gotten around to sending you my pictures so you can give me your advise, anyway have a great day.
Carmina Lee There are people on TH-cam who have proven against what you stated. Just check bumblebee's channel. She has gorgeous vandas that are growing like this for over 10 years!

Starinight1 It's up to you! I hanged that basket, and now that is warm she stays outdoors :)
Wish you would provide the NAME of this Vanda... Btw, I use long-fibered Coconut Coir instead of Bark so my Vanda's dry out faster.
Well , the comercial name of this vanda is Two tone lavander, but that is not a registered ID...
Buna, am primit o vada in glastra, insa vreau sa o pun intr-un basket asemanator insa nu stiu daca cu scoarta sau mai bn cu muschi ceva
good job!!
Thanks
