    Hi everyone! The effective stack size for each hand is listed in the panel on the left where the action is displayed. Also, the time each hand was played is in the top banner for those of you who want to see how long there is between each hand I played. Hope you all enjoy the episode!! 🙏

      Just a bit of feedback, the label on the left is nice but the font is too small and the text is hard to read. I’d do a slightly bigger bold font. I’m young with good eyesight and still can’t read it not in landscape mode.

    Skill level on the Strip...i find the 1-3 at most locations to be pretty soft. There's tons of tourists who dont play often enough whereas the local spots are full of nitty regulars that can sometimes make it difficult to extract chips from. Small pots and way more of a grind in my opinion.

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the location. The Wynn $1/3 $500 max for example doesn’t seem to attract that many tourists. Aria does get more tourists coming in but they recently changed their buy-in at $1/3 to $500 which I think scares some of the tourists. If you find a $1/3 $300 max like at Mandalay Bay then you start seeing more tourists or conference attendees willing to sit down and yes, the games are super soft.

      @panicpoker7871 Bellagio, Caesars, sometimes MGM. But yes Wynn and Aria seem to be places that are games more filled with players who know what they're doing. At the same time those games do tend to create more action.

      @@briantessitore8086 I’ve not played at Caesars. I’ll have to give that room a shot. Bellagio was kind of dead last time I was there but it could have been an off night. I’ll have to go back.

      @@panicpokerCesaers 1/3 and especially 2/5 are very good. Kind of the hidden gem of the strip. Almost zero regs.

    Gonna be at south point this weekend you ever play the tournaments?

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I’ve played the $60 tournament once. It was super soft. If you’re a tournament player it’s probably right up your alley. Stop by and say hello if you see me in the room.

    In the QJdd hand, what did you think you had? You kept saying that you had an OESD, but the flop was J96. Did you think you had QTs? Or that the flop was T96?
    QJo: I think the flop raise is fine. You have to bet the river! Don't tell him that he gave his hand away!
    JTss: This is REALLY confusing. You checked back the 2nd nut flush in the previous hand and then jammed top pair so-so kicker vs 2 streets of aggression. This is a definite x-call down IMO.

      QJdd hand I read the hand wrong during voiceover. Error on my part.
      QJo definitely missed a bet on the river. The turn messed with my head. His body language and the amount of physical tells had me confused.
      JT hand was a decision based on my read of the opponent. I was 90% certain on had the best hand on turn. Went with my gut and it worked out.

    Really enjoyed the Goblin album, thanks for pointing it out. I’ll try this new one as well. Been listening to Miles as well, great stuff.

    22 hours is not enough to really base anything on. You can have downswings way way longer than that.
    I wouldn’t think too hard about your stats until you’re over 100 hours at least.
    Also I think you’re totally wrong about strip games. Sure they have more regs but Wynn, Bellagio, Aria, almost always have killer games to get in.

  • @nicholi2789
    @nicholi2789 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Man I think you played that QJ hand terribly. Check raising a gutshot on the flop? While it’s good you’re trying to play more aggressively, I’d pick higher equity draws to make that play with. Also you let him level you on the turn. You have to learn to ignore people’s goofy behaviors at 1-2.
    The check on the end was suuuuper nitty. You got the second nuts, bet that shit!

    • @MaydayAggro
      @MaydayAggro ปีที่แล้ว

      Solver, assuming non-GTO 1-2 type ranges, actually raises this flop 33% of the time when holding a heart, meaning raise/call is indifferent. As for the check on the end, yes, super nitty.

  • @blakeengland7784
    @blakeengland7784 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    so your not a winning player because of the simple QJ hand. you have the second nuts on the river IP and you don't put in a bet. what if you get raised? then cross that bridge when you get there, and calculate your odds. 👍 best of luck
