Such a shame it was too hot for you to be able to garden today Karen, as I know you love being outside; but I am glad you got to go on your boat trip with Robin and had such an enjoyable afternoon.
I must say I found today’s basement declutter and tidy very motivating. As I was able to clean my lounge whilst I was watching and therefore I felt like I was working along with you. One thing I really noticed was how fast you could put all of your things away now that all your boxes are clearly labelled, zoned by area, category and by type of item. Plus, I could appreciate how quickly you could sweep large areas of your floor now most of the floor space is empty. When I think how good it looks down there now and how much more minimalish you are; and also how much more space you have reclaimed, I feel so happy for you. You must be so proud of your achievements, especially given all the time and effort you have put in. 👏👏🙂

You know the bedding etc. You can buy box shaped storage with zips and see through window to see what's in them. They would stack better look good and keep things clean

I would buy a pendrive for each child, save their pictures there and give them their pendrive with their photos. So it's a bit similar to a box with photos for older children.
Just check first how much space pictures take, to buy the right pendrive.

Don’t look at photos often, but when I do, I become very absorbed and time passes quickly. I enjoy your decluttering videos because I need to do more of that.

The pinecones... You could try to soak them in bleach and let them dry on a piece of cardboard in bright sunlight. Old pinecones that have been outside and dry a long time is often bleached.
How you done it now feels more for "cleaning" than for bleaching.

This video is just about the same length of time it takes for my washing machine to complete a load of laundry so it works out well for me today. Other than dishes, it's the only thing I'm doing today so I'm off to start the next load as soon as the video ends.
Repaired the storm damaged deer fence, patched siding with silicone, sprayed drive, weeded, and cleared out downed branches. Inside laundry, a clean bed, and son vacuumed the stairs. Trash night so went through house and swiped through the fridge. I gather cones, but just hot glue to picks and use. Outside only, so I do not have to think about bugs!

I enjoy all your videos. You have a good variety of longer or shorter videos. I don't think most people look to see how long they are before watching them. I plan to scan all our photos, then let my kids go through and pick ones they want-they can decide if they want to get prints to make albums or books. Maybe you could gift them a gift card to snapfish, Mixbook or orher companies who make prints/books.

Netflix shut down it's DVD operations. As of Sept last year, you don't have to send them back.

I was worried about your pants yesterday when you poured the bleach on the pine cones. I am a klutz. I have been working in my sewing room all week. I am going to finish, not just good enough is okay. I also made 4 sundresses for Rose, our great grand daughter, and 4 shirts for her brothers.

Are you only giving your children pictures if themselves? Wouldn't they also want pictures of their siblings?😊
With group shots I try to divide them up semi evenly so they are getting both and pics with grandparents, cousins, aunts, parents, etc…
What part of Maine do you live in? We stayed in Camden and Bar Harbor, toured so much of Maine and all of New England.

I don't use bleach anymore, I hate the smell!! And, oc I've ruined clothes! I'm trying Oxiclean White Revive for whites.
I don’t use it in the laundry! I bought it for the pine cones! 😂
