Lovely voice of Billy Ibadulla/Khalid Ibadullah who passed away very recently. Originally from Pakistan but then moved to New Zealand and coached cricketers like Gallen Turner and Martin Crow
These are the WSC kits from 1979-80 to 1983-84. Just a month prior to this series the new WSC kits had been introduced in Aus for 84-85 WSC between Aus, WI and SL.
Don't think I will upload Javed Miandad related content from now on. Reason is Javed Miandad has his own channel. If his team can upload they can. I have a video ready of Australia Pakistan Adelaide Test from 1977 so plan to cut his bowling parts from it

people remember Ramiz's slow innings late in his career but in the 1980s he was one of Pakistan's fastest one-day scorers. In 1990s he took a more obdurate role and didn't do very well with it, but he scored freely and fast against West Indies, New Zealand, etc in the 1980s which is no mean feat.
He was out. Bat on the line with the stumps already broken. Also his bat was upside down with the back on the ground which meant it was not ground when it reached the line.

Classic Grant Nisbet still commentating. First full cricket series I watched as a kid. Dunedin test was amazing.
I just love the clean sporty Cricket Uniforms of this series.

Very happy to see Wasim Akram losing his middle stump at @52:56. The sadness on his face after getting cleaned up is satisfying.
Why
The lanky Akram would get revenge with his real talent as a bowler a few days later.
Would have loved to see Akram bowl.
Anyway he had to wait some more days for his first ODI wicket in that 5 fer against Aussies in WCC.
I always wondered why nobody talked aboit Tahir Naqqash more a fighter. Okay bowler but a really clean hitter mashaAllah
