He has played a couple of verses on the solo tour as well. I think everyone is holding out hope that one day these unreleased gems get the full treatment.
Baby, you could jump a hundred times There's just no way that you'll ever fall Out of my graces, out of my graces Let's say for a second that you ever do And it gets hard to look at you Time will erase it, time will erase it Use me up, kick me down As much as you like, we're good on time Cause guess who desperately wants you Over and over, over and over And guess who never forgets you Over and over, over and over You can cut your hair just to grow it back Or dye it till the sink turns black I'll recognize you, I'll recognize you And When you lost your way but I'm doing fine I'll even lose my place in line I'll help you find whatever your, whatever your think you're looking for Cause guess who desperately wants you Over and over, over and over And guess who never forgets you Over and over, over and over Use me up, kick me down As much as you like, we're good on time Baby, you could jump a hundred times There's just no way that you'll ever fall Out of my graces, out of my graces When it's cold outside and you're standing on the ledge I'll be indoors with my arms over the seat, over it come on back in baby, come on back in baby It was constantly care don't ever give me anything All that you find is all I need That we’ll be good some day, that we'll be good someday I'd rather cry at the thought of you Then laugh at the sight of something new I know your beautiful heart, is covered in terrible scares I put my best pair of ears on for this, pretty sure there's are the lyrics for the new third verse Please correct me if I'm wrong.
It sounds a lot like young John with a bit of that Georgia whiskey twang still in his voice. Imagine writing so many amazing song one can’t fit them all in an album, unimaginable. This is a really good one. Really really good John🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤
Incredible! Gives me such a soothing feeling when he drops that first vocal like I get when Gravity starts. Mourning not having a studio version of this to enjoy mixed in with my other favorites.
I always felt like John was on a different level of creativity when making Continuum. I remember him saying that he was channeling the essence of old timeless soul music when making Continuum. Which really translated to something ethereal. This track just proves that.
Thank you so much for sharing…I can’t afford Sirius Xm right now. John has been touring for probably five years straight… I can’t wait for him to get back in the studio and give us some fresh songs. This one is beautiful
Thank you for down loading this version. I have been listening to poor phone caught versions from people lucky enough to catch this song at a random concert! Thank you so much!!! I have been waiting a long time for a good version!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for posting this, very good to hear. I wouldn't say its stellar, although it does have a bit of romance and sophistication. It seems to miss a step a little some where in the middle, and fades out a bit quick at the very end, too. However, it's in line with his usual style, and enjoyable.
This would have been everyone’s wedding song for the last 15 years. Real shame it never made the album
Such a blend of Heavier Things and Continuum. What could’ve been. Glad he shared this.
My life is incomplete without an "on repeat" version of this on spotify
I would love to hear this song with his current vocals
He plays it live on Cory Wong's podcast; Wong Notes. It's so good.
@@himynameisjwow his current vocals range is buttery and less airy
@@kristnpmi2786 I know right? A re-recording today would be insane haha
He has played a couple of verses on the solo tour as well. I think everyone is holding out hope that one day these unreleased gems get the full treatment.
@@TheOneBarBeastYT He did? I saw him in amsterdam last week
Such a pity to think on how many of these wonderful songs we have being missing on.
Baby, you could jump a hundred times
There's just no way that you'll ever fall
Out of my graces, out of my graces
Let's say for a second that you ever do
And it gets hard to look at you
Time will erase it, time will erase it
Use me up, kick me down
As much as you like, we're good on time
Cause guess who desperately wants you
Over and over, over and over
And guess who never forgets you
Over and over, over and over
You can cut your hair just to grow it back
Or dye it till the sink turns black
I'll recognize you, I'll recognize you
And When you lost your way but I'm doing fine
I'll even lose my place in line
I'll help you find whatever your, whatever your think you're looking for
Cause guess who desperately wants you
Over and over, over and over
And guess who never forgets you
Over and over, over and over
Use me up, kick me down
As much as you like, we're good on time
Baby, you could jump a hundred times
There's just no way that you'll ever fall
Out of my graces, out of my graces
When it's cold outside and you're standing on the ledge
I'll be indoors with my arms over the seat, over it
come on back in baby, come on back in baby
It was constantly care don't ever give me anything
All that you find is all I need
That we’ll be good some day, that we'll be good someday
I'd rather cry at the thought of you
Then laugh at the sight of something new
I know your beautiful heart, is covered in terrible scares
I put my best pair of ears on for this, pretty sure there's are the lyrics for the new third verse
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank you! ❤

I am from Southern Louisiana and this is a great dancing song!! John, put this out tomorrow so people can play it at their weddings!!! ❤

The bridge is very Buckley
You're so right actually, wow
@@christian_uu thanks for the like, glad you hear it too
John needs to tighten it up and he has a song! So talented
John please rerelease this song!! It’s just a superb lyrics and with your sound today it was be just awesome over and over.
this may be one of my favorite songs of him, i really love it and it resumes all that he is as an artist
He needs to release a proper version as a single right before wedding season.
I love this song
What a time to be alive!
I can’t understand why this didn’t make the cut … it’s perfect as are all of John’s songs and it would have blended perfectly on the Continuum album ❤
You can hear a more stripped recent version on Cory Wong's podcast.
Heard this last night on u-tube been humming the tune.❤
I Really Love This Song ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fabulous to me!
Beautiful solo ! I’m in love
What a dreamy song ❤ I can imagine myself listening to this thinking of the person I was falling in love with at the time.

I really like it. I heard it over on his S. station.🥰
Why isn't this song on his album. My favorite!! ❤
It doesn't fit continuum and it does in the same time, also you feel a combination between Heavier Things & Continuum Mayer
Amazing song
The other version out there definitely fits it perfectly, more blues guitar infused
Sweet guitar solo
It's good love it 👍 yes small spot ....sound like carousel 🎠
CINEMA 🔥
I think you should would Release it we want to hear it come on. Love you, John.❤
Please but it out 😘❤️John you are so handsome you should be married. Love you ❤️
Good job
I like it too!💝
Definitely would’ve fit, but so cool to hear it now. Personally needed it more tonight than with Continuum. Unbelievable.
This reminds me of Ed Sheeran's "Perfect". This song would have been HUGE HUGE HUGE. Love it so much.
👏👏👏 I love this song! It’s so beautiful! ❤ Thank you so much for posting this Cole, it’s perfect!
Super Great
omg this is great
Thank you so much ❤
Phenomenal guitar solo on a beautifully crafted song!

Imagine all the wedding that missed this😂

Why on earth wasn't this released.
Nah my life is complete now
feels like a prequel to Egde of Desire..
Is it me or do parts of Heartbreak Warfare sound like it came from this song?
Its plausible! Sounds like a combo between Heavier Things and Battle Studies more-so than a Continuum cut, in my opinion.
@@LooseBoltsbut with the continuum voice!
Was thinking the same thing
This one has always pissed me off. Like, just publish this song. We all love it and would have made it "the song" for that special moment.
Is he ever going to release this? How do we get him to release it?
Like 👍 There is But not much melody Music box dreamy ✨
Katy Perry ❤❤❤
same as every ... other... JM song.
