I love that CC stuff! I recently was gifted with over a thousand CC CDs and quite a few great CC LPs. I have a cool, jangly folk (1969) LP by a group called The Mission, "Soulful Sounds For A Church In Change" on Tribute Records that I've been playing a lot lately. I see that there are several copies on discogs available relatively cheap(!) for those interested. Now I need to find that "Concern" LP in the wild - the 8 copies currently on discogs are expensive!
Why am I not surprised that I am not familiar with this album? Interesting, and thanks. I need to start working on my next entry. A really fun thread. - Chris
Is it me, or does the vocalist sound a little like the "Big O" himself, Mr. Orbison? Love hunting out weird left-field stuff, Xian, Spoken Word and School bands. Not all, of course, but anything weird/cool sounding. Here in the U.K., there was loads of that sort of stuff released back in the day. My current searching bug/obsession, is old UK advertising 45's n' flexi singles.
Hey Derek!! Interesting Sound These Guys!!! I Like It....
Happy 4th bro!
I got to get me some Kak original!!!
America, Where Are You? Sounds interesting.

I looked up Concern on Discogs after making this, the $30 one is a pretty good deal considering what's on here. Glad to see it trickle down a bit.

Haha, another somewhat uncommon pick. But this tackles what Acid Archives focuses on, some of the more left-field ones.

He’s coming from eerie phase that Orbison projects sometimes.
