this was excellent, thanks for sharing. beside the shape sizes, would it also be possible to export the position data of those shapes? Would help me a lot to know. Thanks

      Thanks for your comment
Thank you for your comment. Already We can get left and top values. İf you mean the screen position you should add some calculations

@@knowitwithus6420 Do I understand it right, Top and left is the position of the shape at the top left corner? My aim is to calculate the difference between the position (like top left corner) of two shapes. Your code seems to be suitable for that problem, right? Again, I really learned a lot with this tutorial. Thanks you very much.

Yes correct. Top left properties of the shapes are the distance from the corner but it depends on the screen settings, so it can be changed from computer to computer.
The question is; what exactly do you need the difference number. For example if you want these shapes to represent the sizes of something, in meter, you need to calculate in points and use a scale ratio

@@knowitwithus6420 I would like to use the shapes in a floor plan (jpg File) embedded in the excel sheet. I just need the position like top left corner to top left corner of another shape, so I can calculate distances between those shapes. To have the lengt in meter, I just measure a known length in the plan and calculate the real measures. I think, with your demonstrated vba-code it should work. I let you know. Thank you.

I've been using shapes for similar purposes. Normally I set the ratios for both X (width) and Y(height) You can also use .the
      Rotation property
