themadrapper101 I really did agree this has been a damn good decade. I think 00-10 was the worst decade. Also who cares about album sales? Why is this a measuring stick for fans of the music? Especially if you think this has been a bad decade.
The production on this album was so good. Game's ear for beats is top tier. And he rapped his ass off on it. Dope album overall tho i prolly woulda cut a few tracks.

Hug the block might be the best song on the album. Raw emotion you dont hear much in rap nowdays.

Fuck yes!! didn't find out about them till maybe 7-8 months ago and they far have the most entertaining and the best reactions on TH-cam, they're so diverse and open minded to anything and how descriptive they are is amazing, they're just as good as Fantano as analyzing tracks if not better imo

Game always puts out 🔥. This album is good, and will probably fly underrated like "Jesus Piece".
Jesus piece is literally phenomenal and so is born to rap. It poses me off that none of my friends know these albums because they truly are amazing.

He spoke on his reasons in a few of his interviews recently. Also he never said he was done rapping, just that this is the last project he plans to put out.
I'm the biggest Game fan in the world, and he's one of the best rappers of all time in my book, but I was slightly disappointed in this album. It's a quality album no doubt, and I enjoy it, but it's just missing a bit of the hardcore gangsta element we've all come to expect from Game. Other than that, great album. Can't believe none of y'all mentioned '40 Ounce Love' - man, that track is crazy. As always, great review, DEHH. P.S. please don't retire, Game, you're one of the best ever.
I'm a fan of Game as well. As a rapper from Cali myself, he's inspired me a lot. But I don't think he'll really retire. He'll probably just stop making full length albums.

I completely agree with all of you. I would’ve loved more of the tracks to have that west coast gangsta feel that we all know and love from The Game and would’ve preferred it to be shortened a bit but after being a big fan of him since day 1 I still think it’s a solid album.
I consider him to be in my personal top 5 favourite artists and will do for a long time.

"One Life" is my favorite song on the album . Can't believe nobody mentioned it

that's what's crazy, when I saw the length of the track list, the ed sheeran features and the cover, I was worried. But this shit is 25 tracks long and I like at least 20 of them.

Game does have a song with Jay and Dre. It’s called “Get Your Money Right. I think it was for Detox. Or maybe Game was added to it later. But that song is from like 03-04

Songs like start from scratch, one night, let us live, from adam, the soundtrack, hug the block really make you feel his emotions on the track
Just heard the new ITMSO podcast and I honestly felt sad. I'm 23 and I've been a fan since 2012 and follow y'all everywhere. Myke, Feefo, Beezy, Ken, and Rod tgis channel, this whole network, and your presence does not have a shelf life. I live what y'all do and watching your videos have gotten me through so much. I don't care how old y'all get (btw y'all aren't old to me, but even if y'all were who cares!) I hate how hip-hop shuns people when they get older and i hate this overall ageist atmosphere in the music business in general. If y'all don't want to continue being on camera that's cool. We all move on and I guess I have to learn to live with that, but just know that y'all are inspirational and talented as fuck and i don't think no other 5 group of people (young or old) could bring the perspective, clarity, humor, and realness that y'all bring. Thank you for the years thus far.

See, I don't get why dudes advocate for less tracks, when you can literally create your own version of the album with playlists - just delete the songs you don't want and there you go you have your own 10/10 lean album of quality.

Lol Game said this is his last album not that he's retiring which I took it as him saying he will still do music with other rappers he's just isn't making anymore albums himself so that's not the same thing as retiring.
I don't have much complaints about this one, could done without some of the singers on there but surprisingly the Trey Songz featured one , is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be, my favorite song on there was Hug The Block, it reminded me of Start From Scratch delivery wise, i liked Gucci Flip Flops & Five Hundred Dollar Candles a lot too, wish it had more deep songs, Ask for Me & I Didn't Wanna Write This Song are dope too, id give it 3.5/5

Sampling known hit records instead of making your own is a cheat code PERIOD.....

You can’t see it from this angle but on Ken’s tablet it says:

On a review of a Game project I felt there was much too little attention in the promo for the good folks at Dead End Gaming. I'm sure it's because Beezy wasn't there to intervene but damn, not even the logo at the end?
I thought this album was boring on my first listen. I'm listen to it again tonight at work.

The other day someone told me the real reason he's quitting is because of that woman he allegedly touched or whatever. He didn't show up to the courtroom and now he has to pay this woman a lot of money. So all the money he makes off this album will be going to her, which is pretty damn sad of course.
