50 Cent In Da Club is a perfect song. Not too long, 2 dope verses, super catchy chorus that doesn't sound repetitive and an iconic sort of interlude at the start...come on now.

Actually "Panda" by Desiigner is utterly underrated when it comes to the impact on Hip Hops commercial success. It's the first song in a long time that went Nr. 1 at that time. 3 huge misses: Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise and 50's In Da Club are massive worldwide hits that everyone knows that changed the game. Everyone knows the first line of Gangsta's Paradise and it was written in 95. To have that written on the same line as Young Thug's Check is damn near sacrilegious. Also, I love these guys take but don't understand why they hate Tyler's early career. I think Yonkers will stay some of his most influential work. The wordplay and concept of Yonkers was outstanding... I mean my man was dropping triples... and along with a few other cuts on Goblin showed hints of where he would go to. Go listen to Black Skinhead and Yonkers side by side and I think you will see what the more amazing track is.

I think we all need to take a second and discuss exactly what "perfect" means because it seems to me like we are not doing the word justice. For example we have a short list with several examples of perfect songs. In my opinion perfect is a collum that we should feel comfortable leaving blank on every list until the very rare exception comes along. I'm not saying your choices for perfect aren't good but I am saying our bar might be set a little too low which is extremely easy to do because the bar should be set so ridiculously high that we can barely comprehend it.

You’ll probably say L take but I don’t see the appeal in NY State of Mind. Kendrick Lamar is my favourite rapper of all time because he excels at both pen game and sonic enjoyment on classic like Alright, S.A.M.I.D.O.T., and PRIDE.. In NY State of Mind, the beat for me is underwhelming and the lack of a refreshing hook takes points off. The fact that you don’t care for the content matter is fine, but to disrespect the content in the way you did is completely immature.
