Thank you Norman. I made so many mistakes on my first brioche project. I usually ended up frogging because there were increase and decrease stitches. We'll see what happens in my next brioche project. It's worth it!
Thanks Norman! I finished my brioche cardigan months ago and WISHED I had a video as good as this when I made mistakes! Not gonna lie I had several times where my heart was racing after I undid the stitches and didn't know if I was gonna be able to put it back together. 😅
Hi Norman. This is great! You never cease to amaze me! I, too, would frog it and start all over. Not anymore! I’d definitely try and fix it. I do have 1 brioche scarf on my needles somewhere. Thanks so much!😊🤗
This video was so clear. I love the yarn you use for your demos, however I must add, make sure you don’t twist the stitch you pick up which the crochet hook. I saw you did this two or three times.
actually, I am NOT twisting it ;-) (yes it looks that way but if you don't do this kinda pivot twist, you WILL end up with twisted stitches. Try it out on stockinette stitch. you'll have to twist around as well)
Thanks for the lesson. I was terrified of brioche knitting in case I made a mistake. But I will follow your instructions and watch your video several times. I will make a small sample piece to practice on. Again thanks.
Too late for me, I already finished my panel lol. I THOUGHT I had fixed a dropped stitch, and all the stitches after it brioched beautifully, but there was a stray thread and big hole where I hadn’t caught it properly! I managed to run another thread through it, used the dropped stitch line to make a stitch and bring it through the new thread, made another stitch and brought that same new thread through it. It didn’t make a perfect brioche, but it did cover up the hole so well that two expert knitters couldn’t tell where the hole had been! Was so proud of myself!
Thank you so much. I think I will try some patterns now. This , along with life lines just made it for me. You are really one of the best online teachers and I am so thankful 😊❤. Lot's of love from Lisbon .😘
Great timing. Just trying to make my first two color brioche hat and have ripped it back already so many times because of mistakes. And all mistakes seem kind off fatal. One of my goals now is to learn how to reverse decreases and increases so I can track back instead off ripping it. And picking up the stitches after ripping back a section, and, and, and……….
Hi Norman. Firstly, thank you for all your excellent guides. You're always the first person I look to when I have a problem :) Do you have any tips for fixing the first column of brioche when knitting in the round (after the join)? I would love to knot have to rip back (again)

I really needed this as I am learning brioche but finding it confusing!
it can be. but always remember - you are essentially double knitting :)
Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you very much,Norman. I love your videos.
You are very welcome
Thank you. I still need to try this stitch! Probably in a hat
or a scarf. I find it looks so gorgeous with scarves!

sorry...saw this very late. Not exactly sure what you mean? is there a mistake or is this more a problem with a jog/gap?
Thank you God bless you 🙏
Thank you so much! Dankeschön!
