- Very unexpected find. I always thought these were strange foreign country exclusives.
Glad to get one because this is a famous knockoff pretty much. lol
So when I got this, one of the leg poles that moves it was shattered in half, I ended up using my destroyed golden suit Saxophone Santa for a new piece, but after I did that the gearbox now has a problem where all the gears run fine, but the main large gear is slipping on the main shaft where the knobs are connected..
idk what caused that issue or know how to fix it properly. But as you can see, I have to help the legs move up mainly.
Somehow, the motor shaft gears aren't split.
That box tho.. 💀💀💀

I think these started coming out in like 2002 after the Hip Shakin' Santa was more massed produced.
It plays a parody of "The Twist" "Come On Santa it's Christmas Time" But unrealistically high pitched, and that audio was stolen from the TL Toys Twisting Santa.
I could also go on, and on, and on about the absolute strangeness dimension of these bootleg Santas, It'll take years of explanation. xD
omg the sound quality is sooo bad lol
I've seen other versions that were worse than this one.
Like I'm talking Jiada Fish level of horrible.
Why is the art on the box actually decent
They probably traced it from an actual picture of the Santa hehe. ☠️☠️
